    at two of his bodyguards.


    “Yes!” The two guards responded and charged at Leon.


    “Know your ces!” Leon scoffed and was about to counter their attack when Renee beat him to it.


    “Don’t you dare!” Renee’s expression darkened and she stepped forward to stand before Leon without


    hesitation, opening her arms to shield him.


    The bodyguards were startled.


    They both knew that they could not afford to offend Renee and had to give up on attacking Leon. The


    two instantly halted their movements and avoided harming Renee by ident.


    “Renne, are you sure you want to oppose me for this guy’s sake?” Felton’s expression darkened and


    his sharp gaze fell on her.


    “So what if I do? Hugh is the Morrisons’ guest, Felton! If you want to bully him, you must get through


    me!” Renee said coldly with determination.


    Leon was invited to the western region by Hugo to discuss a potential partnership between the


    Cynthion Group and the


    Morrisons.
