Chapter 2290

    Chapter 2290

"That might not necessarily be true! Although Fifi herself isn''t capable of killing Yonas, we can''t be

certain that she didn''t have any aplices or perhaps even conspired with someone else to kill

Yonas," Leon said after some thought.

    N?velDrama.Org owns this.

"Yes, that might be possible!" Angus gasped in realization. He dismissed his initial suspicion of Fiona

after concluding that she did not possess the physical capability of killing Yonas, but now after hearing

Leon''s thought, he realized that he neglected a crucial point—that Fiona could have had an

    aplice!

However, this was just his and Leon''s guess, and there was no way to know if this was truly the case!

Besides, Fiona was Yonas'' girlfriend, and from what they could observe, she did not possess any

motive for killing him at all!

There was no way he and Leon could determine Fiona to be the murderer just on an elementary guess!

"What should we do now, Mister Wolf?" Angus asked. Although he was determined to help Leon get to

the bottom of this, Yonas'' death was too sudden that he did not know where to even begin

investigating, not to mention the fact that all evidence pointed to Leon''s involvement.

He wanted to ask Leon''s opinion to see if he had any good ideas!

"Well, I think our priority should be finding out exactly how Yonas died," Leon said after some thought.

"Mister Thompson, do you know where Yonas'' body is?"

"It has already been sent back to the family home," Angus replied.

"Um, can you possibly bring me there to check it out? If I can see Yonas'' body myself, I''m sure that with

my expertise, I''ll be able to find out his cause of death," Leon said after some hesitation.

Although he was fairly certain that the injuries he inflicted on Yonas could not possibly have killed him,

there was no way to be sure unless he saw the body himself. Therefore, he needed to see Yonas'' body

in person to determine if there was another fatal injury that took his life!

If there was, bined with the fact that Fiona was the only person at the scene of the crime, it would

point to Fiona as the real culprit instead!

"I''m afraid that''s not possible! Uncle Arthur and August are both still angry, and there''s no way they''ll

allow you to examine Yonas'' body," Angus shook his head. Although he was banished from the family,

considering his influence, he was fairly certain that he could still enter the mansion.

However, since both Arthur and August were already convinced that Leon was the murderer, there was

no way they would allow Leon anywhere near Yonas'' body!

"Yes, that''s certainly a big problem," Leon stood up and paced around the sofa, trying toe up with

    a way around this.

Then, a lightbulb went off in his head. "I have an idea!" he smacked the table in glee.

"What is it?" Angus, Iris, and the rest all turned to gaze at him in anticipation.

"Um, I can''t say anything yet, but you''ll find out soon enough," Leon replied after some hesitation.

"Well, okay then." Seeing that Leon did not appear inclined to talk, Angus, Iris, and the rest did not

    push him for an answer.

"Mister Thompson, I''ll take care of this! however, Fiona is still a prime suspect, and I would like you to

help me investigate her. See if we can unearth anything new or find any clues. With both of us on this,

I''m sure we can cover everything we need to." Leon delegated the tasks as he saw fit.

"Yes, no problem!" Angus agreed. With that, he and Leon parted ways, with Leon in charge of

investigating the true cause of Yonas'' death and him responsible for investigating Fiona.
