    “Let you go? Do you think that’s possible? Well, let me tell you this; after I get my hands on you, I will


    strip you naked and hang you on a pole in the busiest part of the city, so the entire Southern region will


    be able to see what’s underneath little Miss Thompson’s dress! After that happens, I’d like to see how


    the Thompsons are going to clear their name!” Asmodeus sneered, and a glint of excitement shed


    through his eyes.


    Roanne sat up as though she was struck by lightning.


    She was always confined to her house as a result of her illness and thus longed to explore the outside


    world, but she never once dreamed that after Leon managed to cure her disease and give her the gift


    of freedom, she would fall into the hands of someone like Asmodeus before she got a chance to see


    the world!


    What scared her the most was that Asmodeus not only wanted to dishonor her, he even wanted to


    humiliate her and the rest of the Thompsons after she died!


    Roanne was an innocent girl, and could never begin to fathom such a cruel act!


    Her entire mind was filled with nerve–wracking terror at the thought of her impending fate!


    “Help me! Father, Mother, where are you? Please help me!” She burst into tears as fear and despair


    seeped into her heart.


    “Scream all you want, my dear, but no one will hear you even if you shout yourself hoarse!” Asmodeus


    cackled. Roanne’s terror only seemed to turn him on even more, and at this point, his blood was boiling


    with lust!


    Just as he was about to reach out and grab hold of Roanne, a bad feeling zipped through his mind, and


    the smile froze on his face.

    “Who’s that? Come out,e out, wherever you are!” Asmodeus snarled and turned to nce sharply


    at a corner of the living room.


    Then, without a single moment’s hesitation, he stepped forward and unleashed a surge of power in the


    same direction.


    Since Asmodeus spent too much time switching vehicles to evade being followed on his way here, it


    did not take too long for Leon to track them down with the Soul Searcher.


    Not long after Asmodeus reached home, Leon arrived too.


    Unfortunately, Leon’s power level was so low that Asmodeus discovered him as soon as he snuck into


    the yard and did not even hesitate to attack him, despite not being able to see him.


    “Rats!” Thankfully, Leon was quick on his feet and managed to evade most of Asmodeus‘ attack with


    an agile tumble.


    However, he was so far below Asmodeus‘ power level that no matter how hard he tried, he could not


    manage to dodge Asmodeus‘ attackpletely.


    “Thud!”


    With a thump, a surge of pain shot through Leon’s chest as Asmdeus‘ attack caught him squarely in the


    middle of his chest and sent him propelling through the air. He finallynded on the ground in a heap,


    spitting out a mouthful of blood.


    Fortunately, Leon was so far away from Asmodeus that his attack did not cripple him entirely, and


    combined with the fact that he had the Mirror of Sovereign protecting him, Leon only suffered some


    light injuries.
