    “If we go down, we go down together!” Willie gritted his teeth, then unleashed a surge of powerful


    energy that barreled straight toward Leon’s direction.


    “Tsk, you wimp!” Leon scoffed at this. Instead of retreating, he lunged forward to meet Willie head–on


    and unleashed his Double Attack in Willie’s direction.


    “Haha, you fell for it, you idiot!” all of a sudden, Willie pulled back.


    It turned out he unleashed his attack just to trick Leon into retaliation, and now that Leon used up his


    Double Attack, Willie pushed on his armrests, propelling his body into the air and, stifling the


    excruciating


    pain that shot through his legs, lunged straight toward Iris!


    “You rat!” the color drained from Leon’s face as he realized that Willie targeted Iris all along!


    He quickly pulled back and tried to channel his energy into saving the girls, but by the time he did so,


    already toote–Willie already reached Iris’s side!


    “Come here, my dear!” Willie cackled as he reached toward Iris, sending a powerful wave of energy her


    After their encounter at Antique City the day before, Willie figured out that Iris was Leon’s girlfriend, and


    once she fell into his hands, he would be able to threaten him and perhaps turn their fate around! way.


    “Careful, Iris!” all of a sudden, Ruth shoved Iris out of the way, sending a wave of energy toward Willie


    in retaliation.


    “Thud!”


    With a deafening m, Willie’s attack tore Ruth’s true energy apart, leaving its remnant barreling


    straight toward Ruth.

    Ruth knew that she was no match for Willie at all and quickly retreated in an attempt to dodge his


    attack, but unfortunately, she was only at the Advanced Supreme State, which was a far cry from


    Willie’s power level. Although she retreated just in time, she still did not manage to dodge Willie’s


    attack entirely, and his energy struck her squarely on her shoulder.


    With a slight grunt, Ruth staggered backward as her face turned pale and a drop of blood seeped out of


    the corner of her mouth. Fortunately, she managed to save Iris just in time, and managed to stall some


    precious. seconds for Leon to retaliate!


    “You bastard!” Leon yelled at the top of his lungs when he saw that Ruth got hurt. He leaped at the


    chance and unleashed another powerful surge of energy while Willie’s back was turned, which struck


    him sharply in between his shoulder des.


    “Rats!” the color drained from Willie’s face. He was just mere seconds away from getting his hands on


    Iris, but that wretched Ruth got in his way!


    However, now was not the time to get angry over this–he could feel that Leon’s attack was surging


    toward him at the speed of light, and it was toote to try to capture Iris again!


    He turned around and directed his attack straight toward Ruth instead!


    He knew that Ruth was Leon’spanion, and if he got his hands on her, he would probably be able to


    use her against Leon as well!


    “Oh no!” Ruth’s heart sank at this realization. She barely escaped from Willie’s wrath and was yet to


    fully recover from her injury. As much as she wanted to dodge, she could not muster the strength to do


    so and had no choice but to watch in horror as Willie’s attack barreled straight toward her.
