What she said to Ariel earlier was supposed to just be between best friends.

Ariel was worse. She even felt like she was about to spit out some blood. She held so much hope for

“I‘m happy with it, of course, I am,” Leon was incredibly
happy as he nodded frantically.
Iris arranged for a much better job than he dared to hope for. He would even be able to learn a lot by
staying by Iris‘ side. He desperately wanted the job.

In Ariel‘s eyes, he proved that he was a sissy by epting a job as a secretary.
“Other than that, I have to remind you that thepany has its own rules. I hope you can obey them.
Don‘t just act like you own the ce just because I‘m indebted to you!” Iris added.

“I know. I‘ll work properly. I won‘t betray your trust,” Leon said earnestly.
Iris let out a satisfied smile before she looked at Ariel,” Ariel, Leon just joined thepany and doesn‘t
know anything. I‘ll temporarily leave him to you. Make your
arrangements for him!”
Ariel viciously red at Leon, nodding reluctantly.
“Also, I arranged for Leon to be the president’s secretary because I want to properly train him up. I
don’t want anyone else to know about what happened between the two of us, so don’t spread it
around,” Iris said.
Better to teach a man how to fish than to give him fish for a day!
Iris knew that Leon was not that capable. She arranged for Leon to be by her side because she wanted
to expand Leon’s knowledge as well as train Leon’s organizational
abilities.
Then, even if Leon left thepany in the future, he
would be able to carve out a business for himself or have a
career as an executive in apany.
That was her way of repaying Leon.
“I understand. Don’t worry, I won’t let it spread,” Ariel
smiled. She knew what Iris was concerned about.
Leon was Iris’s savior. If the people in thepany knew
of that, there would be a lot of people who would try to get friendly with Leon.
If that happened, training Leon would bepletely secondary. There was a chance that Leon would
completely ruin his future due to some alluring offers.
“Let’s go, I’ll bring you to the human resources department to get your documentation done first,” Ariel
nced at Leon before turning around and leaving the office.
Leon followed behind her.
After getting the documentation done, Ariel brought Leon to the front of the president’s department.
“Leon, in ourpany, the president’s secretary is nominally under the president’s department. You
should report to the department first and learn the ropes from the office for a few days. Once you get
the basics down, I’ll personally guide you,” Ariel said simply.
In the Elegante Group, the president’s assistant was a high–ranking executive within thepany. She
had a lot of power and was almost equal to the vice president
and the general manager.
The president‘s secretary was only in charge of running errands for the president. Other than a slightly
better sry, the secretary had no real power.
However, Leon‘s situation was a bit more special. Iris had intentions of training him. He was merely
assuming the position of a secretary for the moment. In the future, he would have as much power as
Ariel.

“Alright, I still have a lot of work to do. Go over and report yourself,” Ariel turned around to leave after
that.
Leon rubbed his nose and headed to the office by himself.
The president‘s department was split into two parts, the inner office, and the outer office.
The inner office was where the head of the president‘s department worked. Meanwhile, the outer office
was for general affairs.
The president‘s department was an important department that made decisions within thepany,
assisting the president in the day–to–day business.

rank as the president’s assistant. Both of them were at the rank of directors. They were both core
members of thepany’s power structure.
Since Ariel was close to Iris, her power was a level higher than the head of the president’s department.
