Chapter 2428

The manager smiled in wry amusement. "That''s why I''m the manager and you''re the bouncer! Those three clearly are no average Joes, and they can afford the bare minimum! Hell, just watch-they''d spend enough to cover this month''s expenses!"

The bouncers nodded, not quite understanding.

Meanwhile, Frank, Jada, and Moxxi took the most expensive seats, with Jada and Moxxi nking Frank.

They were hugging his arms, flirting like mistresses while their hands reached elsewhere.

Still, it was not as if they were taking advantage of him. Frank was the one who said they should act the part when they came, so that Hal would not notice anything out of ce.

A waiter approached them, asking, "Can I take your order?"

"Domaine de Romanee-Conti!" Moxxi promptly said.

The waiter smiled in wry amusement. "I''m sorry, we don''t have anything that expensive."

Moxxi frowned and snorted. "What about champagne? A Dom Perignon P3?"

    The waiter shook his head.

    "A P2, then?"

    "We don''t have that either!"

Moxxi sighed in exasperation. "Well, what do you have? Honestly, do you even serve alcohol here?"

As the waiter was left stumped, Frank shot a look at Moxxi, who clearly wanted to keep harassing the waiter.

"Forget it!" She snorted, switching gears right then. "I happen to keep a P3 in my car. There''s no problem if I bring it in, right?"

Inwardly, Moxxi was impressed by her own foresight.

They really knew how to waste money here in Draconia, drinking up anything that was good for them without care for status or quality Be it the Romanee-Conti or Dom Perignon, only true connoisseurs could taste the difference when there was really not much difference.

That was why most youths would only stick to cocktails or beers and Champagne Dom Perignon at best.

As for middle-aged men, they either would not frequent night spots or would stick to spirits—which suited them, with the high alcohol content.

That was why Draconia''s night spots were poorly stocked, unlike foreign bars, and the reason why Moxxi brought her own alcohol just in case.

Still, the waiter shook his head. "I''m sorry, ma''am, but outside food and beverages aren''t allowed. Please cooperate!"

Moxxi sighed in exasperation. "Don''t worry. We''ll pay the corkage fee!"

The waiter sighed, having no idea what a Dom Perignon P3 was. "I''m sorry, ma''am, but we really can''t help you there. We do have Champagne Dom Perignon, though. How about that?"

Moxxi scowled. "Do you have vodka?"

"Of course!" The waiter promptly nodded, though confused by the sudden leap

from wine and champagnes down to cheap spirits.

Moxxi then ranted, "You see, like

how a Champagne Dom Perignon is worth a hundred bottles of vodka, a Dom Perignon P3 is worth a hundred bottles of Champagne Dom Perignon. That makes the corkage fee of one Dom Perignon P3more expensive than a Champagne Dom Perignon. Do you get it?!"

The waiter was shocked but did not dare to call the shots.

Instead, he brought in the manager, who asked politely, "Apologies, how may I be of service?"

Moxxi snorted in annoyance. "I tried

to order Dom Perignon P3, but

there''s none here. I asked to bring one here and even offered a ten

    percent corkage fee, but you

    wouldn''t let me either

    In

    What''s this

    terrible service?"

"No way!" The manager threw his hands up. "Of course you can bring your own wine. The waiter''s new and hasn''t been trained. Please don''t take offense!"

He knew even if the waiter did not-the Dom Perignon P3''s corkage fee would be more expensive than a normal Dom Perignon champagne, and it would take an idiot to refuse money!
