Chapter 2237

    ?

Alda raised a brow. "Talk about a strange fetish."

Jada certainly exined why Urich did what he did, though that was another matter entirely. The brat had just proven that he was brainless, and it would have been game over for him long ago if he had swindled someone who could put up a fight.

"No reason to keep him around," Frank said.

"Don''t worry, sir. I''ll make him pay," Jada assured him, clearly having a n as she walked up to the security guards. "Get Urich Hampton right this instant!''

Suddenly no longer groveling as she left Frank''s side, she was once again her haughty self.

It left the security guards terrified they were presuming that Whitney and her gang were just some blockheads who were conned by Urich, only to find out she had connections with Jada!

As such, they had no choice but to call Urich, while Whitney appeared puzzled. "I guess you''re a big shot, missy!"

"Not just a big shot." Alda smiled as she shook Whitney''s hand. "She''s Urich''s boss and could crush him with just a word. Anyway, I''m Alda Ingram. Nice to meet you!"

"Alda Ingram... Wait, are you the heiress of the Ingram family?" Whitney eximed, somewhat knowledgeable and having heard others mentioning the Ingrams before.

"Oh, I''d neverpare to your daughter." Alda smiled, knowing who Whitney was since Frank mentioned that she was Sally''s mother.

As such, she should at least get acquainted with the mother of such a great personality!

"Oh, you''re exaggerating." Whitney quickly apologized upon hearing what Alda hinted at. "I''m sorry my daughter brought you so much trouble. Please don''t get so upset with her."

While she had the feeling that Sally had done something terrible, she was still Sally''s mother and hoped that she could make amends for Sally''s sake, just so that Sally would not be resting in pieces.

Thankfully, unlike most heiresses, Alda had a moralpass and understood that Sally and Whitney were both their own people.

Shrugging, she said, "It''s alright. She didn''t do anything terrible, aside from taking away my phone."

    ?

While Whitney was left confused by Alda''s words, Urich Hampton came running toward them. "I''m so sorry, Ms. Turin. We weren''t expecting you, so Lapologize for the poor hospitality..."

    ét

However, Alda was fuming as she was reminded by Urich''s despicable behavior. "What''s this I hear about you swindling people for money? thought it was a rumor, so imagine my surprise when I found out that it was true. What the hell do you think you''re doing?"

As mentioned before, theirpany was worried about public criticism, and no amount of money would make something like this go away.

    Still, Urich quickly yed dumb.

"What are you talking about? You shouldn''t listen to just anyone! Think about it may be beneath you in rank, but I get a fat annual bonus myself! Why would I do something so troublesome?"

Jada smirked. "There''s a witness and evidence, and you''re still arguing?"

"What witness? What evidence?" Urich shrugged, not giving up.

Whitney strode up, sneering, "Remember Harry Chandler? The one you talked into starting a pig farm with you?"

"Who''s Harry Chandler? Never heard of him!"

Urich red viciously at Whitney, clearly threatening her.

Seeing that, Alda and Sylvie traded a smile of wry amusement.

Urich really did not know his ce he would be giving up on life if he ever found out that Whtiney''s daughter was a demoness feared by everyone.

"Are you threatening me?" Whitney retorted just then. "I''ve never feared anyone my whole life! You either pay up, or—"
