Chapter 2214

    ?

Frank punched the wall, shattering the concrete and revealing the rebar and the rusted metal tes further inside.

Frank knocked those and judged from the sound that the tes were thick, but not pure metal.

It was some sort of forged alloy that found a perfect bnce between malleability and durability, and there was no escaping it.

    "Guess we''re stuck here."

Alda realized their situation just then but was not afraid, even cheering herself on. "I mustn''t cause trouble for Mr. Frankton, I mustn''t cause trouble for Mr. Frankton..."

Frank could hear her chanting to herself and turned to ask, "What?"

While Alda quickly shook her head, Frank suddenly heard footsteps and turned to see a two-meter tall behemoth advancing on them. Its fur was blood-red, and its eyes were the size of golf balls and shing at that!

    "Argh!!!"

Alda screamed in terror, and Frank quickly strode up to shield her.

He had presumed Pax to be just another rich spoiled brat and did not expect him to have something up his sleeve, rearing a monster like this.

Still, he had a hunch that the monster itself was Sally York''s work. Pax and her were acquainted, and judging from this, they were even close enough that Pax was involved in Sally''s projects.

He had certainlye to the right ce!

Behind Frank, a pinhole camera was observing everything.

Pax himself was sitting behind hisputer, watching with his goons what Frank would do, while a couple ofdies massaged his shoulders. "Do you think he''d lose?" Pax suddenly asked.

"What are you saying, sir?" The goon behind him chuckled. "He may be strong enough to beat a dozen men by himself, but that monster isn''t something to be trifled with. There''s no way he''d win."

Everyone including thedies nodded in agreement, and Pax said, "In that case, we''ll see."

Even as they spoke, the monster was attacking Frank with a vicious fist to his face. Frank easily dodged it, however, while the monster''s fist struck the wall instead, leaving arge crack that stretched from floor to ceiling.

    "It''s so strong!"

The goons were stunned, but Pax remained silent as he watched the screen closely.

Frank had suddenly leapt forward, his fingers outstretched like a sword as he struck an acupoint behind the monster''s back.

It dropped to the floor with a loud bang and stopped moving entirely.

Everyone behind the screen was left trading nces-the brat was good, but there was no way he coulde

    instantly take down that monster!

    UMS

After all, it was no ordinary monster, punching through four inch steel tes. Moreover, its furry hide was tough and was immune to cold weapons.... so how did it fall so easily?

They had no idea that Frank was watching closely and immediately saw something unusual about it.

Noticing that its weak point was on its back, he quickly dispatched it.

"Remember. Never underestimate anyone, or it''d end badly for you," Pax lectured his goons, calm as ever.

The rest of them hung their heads in silence.

Meanwhile, Frank led Alda forward and turned a corner to find a youth sitting behind a table.

There was a chessboard on the table, and Frank could see from the way the youth trembled that he was not Pax.

Instead of attacking, he asked, "Who are you?"

"D-Don''t kill me!" the youth stammered.
