    Frank raised a brow, puzzled. "You have no reason to stay."


    Sylvieughed. "I''m mostly worried, and being here means I can try to salvage something even if something really happens."


    Frank nodded. "Fair enough."


    After Tigris pitched an extra tent for Sylvie, they had dinner and chatted.


    Then, Sylvie started to stroll around the barren grounds, chanting while she did.


    Tigris was not sure how he should react to that. "What''s she doing, a ritual? That''s awfully superstitious of a university student."


    Frank shook his head. "You should have paid attention when you were in school. She''s most likely looking for the main chamber." Tigris nodded, only half-understanding Frank''s words.


    Lara then brought Frank a nket. "It''s cold at night. You''d catch a cold."


    Seeing that, Tigris snorted grumpily. "I''m here too, Lara. Where''s mine?"


    Lara rolled her eyes at him. "Don''t you have legs?"


    Tigris shed a pained smile but nodded and left.


    Lara then sat down beside Frank, noticing the ring on his finger just then, and asked, "I remember Mr. Chand saying that you''re quite rich. Why don''t you get something better?"


    Frank nced at the ring and chuckled exasperatedly. "It''s special to me."

    "Special?" Lara was immediately interested. "Like some sort of divine relic that absorbs energy for you?"


    Frankughed. "No, it''s just a ring-it''s nothing that special."


    As soon as he finished, the ring seemed to grow an attitude and sparkled dazzlingly, leaving Lara at once surprised and delighted. "It''s that amazing?!"


    However, even as Frank stared at the ring, he suddenly felt like something serious would happen.


    He then looked up to find that Sylvie was gone!

    he soon found that she had fallen into the tomb. He promptly dashed toward the hole that appeared out of nowhere, leaping inside.


    As soon as he was in, the ring was glowing in a fixed direction again no matter where Frank moved his hand, just like before.

    Scooping her up in his arms, he vaulted out of the hole, while Lara rushed toward him.


    Seeing that Sylvie was unconscious, she quickly phoned for help.

    Lara nced at the cell tower nearby, unsure if she shouldugh or cry. "Fake cell towers? In this day and age?!"


    Frank, however, was staring pointedly at the man-sized hole.


    He shook his head and sighed. "I think it''s something else. Just wait here I''ll take her to the hospital."
