Chapter 2570

The burly proprietors thought they had misheard. "T-Ten bucks?"

After all, intion had gotten so bad these days that ten bucks really would not amount to anything!

Frank nodded. "Exactly, or I''d be suspected of meddling if I don''t get paid!"

Jada smiled in wry amusement-Frank was really quite something, even bothering to go through the motions!

Seeing that Frank was a good man and had the strength to help, the proprietors were grateful and did as he said, paying him the ten bucks before calling the developer.

The developer, however, refused to answer his call, even blocking them soon enough.

It certainly left the proprietors disheartened. "Kid, this isn''t going to work-we don''t even know where he is. I guess this is it."

Frank smiled, shaking his head. "There won''t be justice if you let him slip away like that now. People like him only get bolder because others tolerate them... So watch closely!"

Frank waved his hand, and a terrible wind erupted.

And with a loud rumble, the towering abandoned apartment project copsed, kicking up a mushroom cloud that shot into the skies and drew endless attention.

The proprietors were absolutely shocked. "K-Kid, are you a god?!"

Frank chuckled. "I''ve never thought of myself as one. I only know how to fight-it''s really not worth mentioning."

"B-But it''s a private property," Laura blurted. "Doesn''t this implicate you?"

While it was a sublime move on Frank''s part, the proprietors also had to consider the situation.

Jada strode up. "Don''t worry. Mr. Frankton has a lot of money and could just buy the project if he has to. But I''m sure like you, the developer would be convinced that we can''t ande to harass us. That would lead him right into the trap!"

Everyone nodded and as Jada had said, once the developer heard that the building copsed, he could not help rushing to the scene right away.

A BMW X5 could be seen stopping some distance away from the abandoned apartment construction site. Out stepped a pudgy man.

wearing gold chains and a R

sporting a long gash on his face that stretches to the back of his head.

It was clearly a wound sustained from a sharp de, and it made it clear that Gashface was not to be trifled with.

Once he strode into the abandoned apartment construction site, he barked, "Who did this?! Who blew up my building?!"

Frank strode up and snapped, "I''m responsible, but I didn''t blow it up. I was simply using a certain type of spell!"

Gashface smirked. "Quit yapping. I''ve met my fair share of martial elites, and no one could ever destroy this tower."

"Are you mocking him?! Walk the talk and fight us!"

Seeing that Gashface was insulting Frank, the proprietors leapt to Frank''s defense and encircled him, ready for a fight.

    "Wait!"

Frank stopped them nheless. "My strength notwithstanding, I have questions-why wasn''t this building finished as nned? How are the proprietors supposed to move in?"

Gashface snorted. "What''s it to you anyway? I''m warning you don''t poke your

nose where you don''t belong, or I''ll kill you!"

"Just try it!" The burly men surrounded Frank protectively.

They knew Gashface would not even manage to scratch Frank, but they were still

willing to stand in front of him, even as meat shields.

Gashface rolled his eyes. "What are you kids even ying? Shouldn''t you all be begging me to get this abandoned project up and running again?I''ll give it to you straight have friends in high ces, so you''ll all suffer if you mess with me!"

Frank chuckled coolly. "Friends in high ces? Don''t tell me it''s that donkey who wields wight me? Call him if you want, but I''ve already taken his cultivation!"

    "You''re kidding!" Gashface spat.
