    Lanky remained defiant. "You''re the only dog around here, bitch!"


    Frank smirked. "So you''re not giving in!"


    However, he turned to leave and did not speak to Lanky anymore.


    Lanky naturally was getting the impression that he had just dodged a bullet. Then, he was about to get to his feet when he watched Jada striding past Frank, smiling as she stood in front of him!


    "W-What do you want?" Lanky blurted in terror. "Are you nuts or something?"


    While Jada was not as scary as Frank, she was still a rare specimen who might be able to skin him!


    "What, you ask? I''m going to kill you, of course!"


    The screams seemed endless for a while, but Frank did not bother.


    Instead, he walked inside the house which the wall he had just broken and found a couple trembling in fear.


    He quickly said, "Don''t worry-I''m not some butcher who''d massacre the


    innocent. I just want to apologize for breaking your wall. Could you give me your bank ount details so that I couldpensate you?"


    The couple promptly shook their heads.


    Compensate them?


    Who was he kidding? They could not ask for more if he stayed his hand from their necks!

    While he was being mild-mannered, it seemed no different from a threat to the couple. As such, they quickly provided their ount details without another word, and Frank wired them a hundred grand and left.


    Outside, he found that Lanky had passed out from Jada''s torture, while she was smiling at Frank, just like a child waiting to be praised.


    "Not bad!" Frank gave her a thumbs-up and headed straight to the vige exit, with Jada giggling as she followed.


    As evening arrived, they were strolling along a street.


    While Frank and Jada were keeping their eyes fixed forward, Laura was looking around in curiosity.

    Laura smiled but said nothing, keeping in mind that she had to properly repay Frank and Jada.


    Her upbringing forbade that, if nothing else.


    Still, as they strolled past an abandoned apartment construction site, a group of burly men came running outside, screaming.


    Jada quickly stopped them. "What''s wrong? It''s way toote for such silliness. Did you see a ghost or something?"


    The burly men kept running and yelled back, "Yes, we did! Don''t go in there... It''s haunted!"

    Such words would be no different from bait for Frank, leaving him utterly antsy!


    In fact, the more freaky it was, the more likely Frank would jump in for no other reason than him being a nice guy!


    "Go ahead, Mr. Frankton!" Jada spread her palms, not bothered to dissuade Frank since she knew it would not work.


    Frank chuckled and strode inside fearlessly.


    "Calm down, Mr. Frankton!" Laura promptly cried. "There has to be a reason for everything that happens You''re strong, but that doesn''t mean you''d win against anything. Trust me you mustn''t overestimate yourself, or you''d lose!"
