Chapter 1753

“I’m so jealous to hear that you and him go way back. Time to step up your game and get him,” said

another disciple in a light and cheery tone.

Rachel felt self–conscious and responded, “Don’t say that! He and I are just friends. Besides, I don’t

    think I

stand that much of a chance because a lot of women want to be with him.”

“Then just try harder! You never know if it’ll work eventually,” the female disciple replied with a smile.

Meanwhile, Severin and Elsa had already covered a distance of several hundred miles.

All of a sudden, a furious roar echoed, and a spirit beast with an attainment levelparable to that of

    a

level eight saint soared into the sky. He emanated an exceedingly violent aura.

“Haha, to hell with you.” Severin chuckled, opting not to engage with the spirit beast, which was a two

headed firewolf. Instead, he swiftly changed direction and deftly flew past the massive beast. After a

quick eleration, he soon left his relentless pursuer far behind.

“This two–headed firewolf is huge! It’s several dozen feet tall! Isn’t this a little too scary already,” Elsa

marveled as she watched the giant creature trying to catch up to them. “It’s not often that we get to

encounter such a powerful spirit beast in the outside world, but there’s just so many of them here in the

Paradise Secret Realm. I probably would be dead by now if I ran into it alone.”

Severin smiled and remarked, “Haha, it’s very determined, though. It knows it can’t catch us, but it

continues to give chase from behind.”

“They are spirit beasts, after all.” Elsa pointed out. “They might be intelligentpared to other

animals, but their intelligence is far behind that of humans. We would have a hard time trying to defeat

    them if they

    were as smart as us.

Severin smiled and exined, “These spirit beasts have a strong dislike toward humans because they.

instinctively view us as intruders in their territory. They’ll still pursue us even if we haven’t provoked

    them.”

    Property belongs to N?vel(D)r/ama.Org.

As he finished speaking, a sly smile appeared on his lips and his eyes gleamed as he added, “Hehe,

let’s stop for a moment and wait for this spirit beast to catch up.”

Elsa was perplexed by Severin’s decision to wait for the pursuing creature. “Why are we even waiting

    for

it? Isn’t this such a waste of time?”

Severin grinned cheekily and exined, “Not at all. There are more than a dozen disciples from the

    Horizon Sect right up ahead.”

Elsa caught on to his intentions, and her eyes lit up and she eximed, “I see what you’re getting at.

Severin nodded. When the two–headed firewolf drew closer to them and neared the attack range of the

Horizon Sect disciples, Severin maintained a steady pace and flew toward the group.

“Hehe, we’re lucky to have assembled twelve of our sect members even though we’ve only been in this

realm for two or three days. Any individuals or small groups from the Skyblue Sect won’t be able to

escape if they run into us,” remarked one of the men with a wicked grin.

“Haha, you seem very interested in the Skyblue Sect’s disciples?” teased a female disciple in the

    group.

The attainment levels of this group varied, with several at level five and level six saints, while the lowest

    were at level one saint.
