    Chapter 27: Wonder How ze is Doing?


    “They really like you here!” Tara told Ste back in the dressing room after the show. They had both


    changed out of their costumes and were dressed in more normal clothes. “Maybe we should do a tour


    of Japan.”

    “I would think that after what happened to you only a few months ago, you would never want to set foot


    in this country again,” Ste said. She was, of course, referring to their misadventures in that country


    that followed both of them being sold as sex ves to wealthy Japanese businessmen with a passion


    for keeping and punishing beautiful women. They had both suffered harsh treatment before escaping


    from captivity.


    “Well, that was under a little different circumstances. Most of the Japanese people I’ve met this time


    are very nice. Besides, it could mean some big money for us.”


    “There’s always that,” Ste mused. “Maybe we coulde up with some escapes that have a


    Japanese vor to them. Like escaping while hanging over a bed of samurai swords.”


    “Or from a tank with a giant octopus before he makes a human sushi meal of you,” Tara added. “Or


    maybe we could get Godzi to threaten to eat you if you don’t escape!”


    “I think he’s retired after all those movies he starred in,” Ste said in a matter-of-fact tone.


    As they were leaving the auditorium, Tara began specting on a world tour and all the themes they


    could use in different countries. When they sat down for ate dinner, the conversation turned to their


    companions.


    “I wonder how ze is doing?” Tara began. “Shouldn’t we hear from them in the morning? I’m worried


    about her.”


    “Probably. But I’m sure they’re okay. She had that big private dick, as he calls himself, to protect


    her.”
