Chapter 13: Thirteen


    "So" Mitch said as she, Kenzie, and ire stood beside my locker "When you called, I didn''t realize it


    was more of letting us know you were about to get some, and less of wondering where we were"


    As the words left Mitch''s mouth, my eyes began growing as I realized that I had called her-to which she


    had answered, btw-before Luke whispered to me that I have a great ass, and the rest is history.


    I began getting redder by the second so I ced my head inside my locker in shame.


    "I''m soooo fucking sorry!!!" I moaned inside my locker, which earned fits of giggles from my friends


    before they pulled me out of my locker "Shit I''m really sorry guys! I was really meaning to ask you three


    where the hell you were, when..."


    "Yeah yeah we get it. You were seduced" Kenzie said as she waved her hand dismissively, and I went


    to bury my face on my palms in shame.


    "But for reals" I said after taking a deep breath "Where were you guys?" The three began looking at


    each other before looking back at me again


    "With... Luis and his friends" Mitch said hesitantly. I began nodding, until my foul mind began making


    me scrunch


    "God! Please tell me you didn''t have an orgy" I stated, distaste in my mouth


    "What the fuck Kylie? Of course not!" ire said "We went to get some food then after that, we all


    crashed at Luis’ ce"


    "You all? As in you three with the three guys?" I asked, and they nodded, making me sigh. "Guys. Just


    because these guys are private school dudes doesn''t mean you should be going with them anywhere.


    What if they were serial killers or massive rapists who stuffed you on the back of their truck?"


    "Dude chill. If anything happened to us, at least you have an idea who the suspects are" Kenzie said


    "Besides" Mitch added "The boys were all very gentle" I let out a snort because I knew exactly what


    Mitch meant. I rolled my eyes.


    "Whatever" I said "I''m just d you guys are fine"


    "We sure are" ire said as she let out augh before the bell rang and we began walking to ss.


    To be honest, the day went by sooo fast. Before we knew it, the day had ended with a ring of a bell and


    we all began going out of the school.


    As we walked, Mitch proceeded to tell us the continuation of her story about what happened after they


    left the party.


    "So he drives me back home and that''s it" Mitch ended as we stood in front of ire''s bug.


    "I''m starting to like Luis for you" I said


    "Oh you should" Mitch said "But I think it was just a one night thing" she added with a shrug


    "Why?" Kenzie asked


    "I dunno?" Mitch answered "He haven''t called or texted tbh"


    "Mitch you slut" Kenzie said "Ever heard of the three day rule?" Mitch rolled her eyes


    "Yes" she answered "And to be honest, if a guy was really interested in me, he wouldn''t wait for three


    days to talk to me again. Hell, he shouldn''t even wait another second"


    "Whatever" ire said as she rolled her eyes and unlocked her car "I''ll see you guys tomorrow"


    We all said our goodbyes before heading towards our own cars and calling it a day.


    As soon as I reached my house, however, not only was there a car, which I know is Justin''s, but three


    more cars I''ve only seen now.


    After parking, I began walking up the porch and inside the house, only to hear loud rock music, and


    boysughing and talking.


    I''m guessing they heard the front door close, that they all began looking over to see who it was, and


    sure enough, there was Luke, Justin, Luis, and the other two guys who who were hooking up with


    Kenzie and ire at the party.


    "Kylie!" Justin said before he got up off the floor and stalked over to me "Hey"


    "Hey guys" I said


    "Hey" they all said in unison before me and Justin began walking over to the living room


    "So. Whatcha guys up to?" I asked


    "Nothing much. School work. Boy''s night" Luke said "Oh, by the way. This is Luis, Chris, and Tyler" he


    introduced before I gave them all nods.


    "Alright, well Imma go upstairs. Later" I said


    "Later" they all said in unison before I turned my back and began walking away. That is, until Justin


    caught up with me.


    "So hey. I was wondering if you''d wanna go on another date again this Friday?" Justin asked, which


    made me smile


    "Sounds good" I answered, which brought a smile to Justin''s face as well


    "Awesome" he said before I shed him a smile and proceeded up to my room.


    By 7:30, mom began calling me downstairs for dinner.


    As soon as I got down, I could hear the guys being noisy as hell in the dining room.


    As soon as they saw me, Justin immediately called me and pointed at the empty seat beside him. I


    smiled and sat down.


    "Done with homework?" Justin asked me while the other three were engrossed in a conversation of


    their own.


    "I guess" I answered making Justin smile. Before he could speak again, Luis called him, making us


    both turn to look at them.


    "You nning on sneaking in Kylie''s room tonight?" Luis asked


    "As long as she keeps her door unlocked" Justin replied, which earned howls from Chris and Tyler.


    Luke, on the other hand, was emotionless. Or rather, it was as if he was shocked at Justin''s answer.


    "I''m right here you idiot" I said as I pped his arm.


    "No one''s going anywhere near Kylie''s room" Luke said in a serious tone as he red at Justin, making


    everyone suddenly go in silence as he and Justin, who looked a bit shocked but still had that yful

    smirk on his lips, stared at each other.


    "Hey man. That was a joke. Besides" Justin said before turning to look at me "That''s still up to Kylie"


    Luke red harder at Justin as the four of us sat there in awkward silence, and the only thing that cut


    off the staring contest was when Mom and Dave appeared holding the food. As soon as they had set


    the food on the table, they sat on their respective seats.


    "Why''s everyone suddenly so quiet?" Dave asked


    "Nothing” Luke answered "Just in starving”


    The tension between Luke and Justin was still there, but luckily, Dave and mom didn''t catch on it as


    everyon digged in.


    The tension died down when mom and Dave began talking to the guys but there was still a bit of


    tension between Luke and Justin as Luke spared nces at Justin a couple of times.


    I, on the other hand, ate really fast so I could go up to my room and not feel the looming tension


    between them.


    As soon as I swallowed thest bits of my food, I moved my chair and got up and said goodnight to


    everyone before I headed upstairs.


    Upon locking my door, I let out a sigh of relief. Relieved that I was finally out of there, and continued


    doing my homework.


    At around 11pm, I heard mom and Dave pass by my room as they headed towards theirs, but no sound


    of the boys going up to Luke''s room, which meant that they were definitely still downstairs. And


    hopefully, Luke and Justin were in good terms again.


    I began fixing my stuff and as soon as I ced my books and pens on top of my desk, I headed to my


    bathroom to take a shower.


    After taking a shower and wrapping my towel around my body, I opened my messages and other apps


    on my phone as I stepped inside my room.


    "I am never gonna get tired of seeing you half naked" Luke said,pletely startling me. He stood by


    my door with that smirk he''s been using to get me ever since.


    "God. Haven''t you heard of knocking?" I said as I wrapped my arms around my body and tightened the


    hold of my towel just in case it identally falls, as if he haven''t seen me naked yet.


    Luke''s eyebrows shot up as he watched me tuck my towel.


    "What the hell are you doing tucking your towel as if I haven''t seen you naked before?" He asked


    amused and I simply rolled my eyes.


    "What are you doing here Luke?" I asked as I crossed my arms over my chest.


    "Just wanted to say sorry about the awkward tension earlier" Luke said, now in a serious tone. "I just... I


    guess, in a way, I''ve been having that brotherly protectiveness over time" he added with a shrug


    "It''s fine. Really" I answered "Is that all?" And with that, the yful look in Luke came back


    "Are you suggesting I have something else in mind?" He asked, making me roll my eyes


    "No. Now get out of my room before they learn that you''ve been talking to me while I was half naked" I


    answered as I pointed towards the door. Luke rolled his eyes yfully before grabbing the doorknob


    and letting himself out.


    But before he could fully be out of my room, he reached for the lock on my doorknob and pressed it.


    "Just in case" he said as he looked up at me with a smile. And I couldn''t help but smile back at him.


    "Night, Luke" I told him. He let out augh.


    "Night Kyls" he answered before fully closing my door.


    And I stood there for a few good seconds, possibly minutes, with my towel wrapped around my body,


    just staring at the closed door like an idiot, before I realized that I was half naked and had to get ready


    for bed.
