Chapter 9: Nine
Days have passed and not surprisingly, Luke had been sneaking into my room every night and then
sneaking out at around 4am.
It''s Friday and I was currently getting ready for my date with Justin.
Is it even a date? I mean he said he wanted to get to know me so I guess it is.
But then again, there''s a possibility that he''d bring Luke with him, so thatpletely erases the idea
that this is a date.
I decided to keep it casual and just wear a high waisted shorts and a tank top, along with my favorite
converse.
"Mom I''m going out" I shouted as I walked down the stairs.
Surprisingly though, Justin was in the living room with Luke.
Luke was wearing pj''s so that only meant one thing. This was a date after all.
"I know. Justin told me" mom said as she came out of the kitchen wiping a te dry.
"Ready to go?" Justin asked as he walked over to me "By the way, you look really amazing" and cue in
the blushing.
"Okay, well we''re leaving" I told mom, who nodded.
"Bring her home by 1" mom told Justin, who shed her a smile and a nod
"She''ll be home by 12:59" Justin said, making everyone in the roomugh. Well, except for Luke who
simply rolled his eyes.
I then dragged Justin out of there and out to his car.
"So. Where are we going?" I asked as I fastened my seatbelt
"Well," Justin said as he inserted the key to his ignition "We''re gonna get dinner, then we''ll go to this
party"
"Party you say?" I asked as Justin began driving "Why is Luke noting? Doesn''t he like to party?"
"Well, yeah. To be honest, I asked him if he wanted toe, but he said he wanted to stay home
instead" Justin exined.
For ten minutes, the only sound inside the car was the music sting from Justin''s stereo. But other
than that, nothing else was said.
Soon, we stopped in front of a restaurant.
And judging from its looks, I suddenly felt too under-dressed.
Justin began taking his seatbelt off, and upon noticing that I wasn''t moving, he let out augh and
leaned forward so he could take my seatbelt off.
"You seem nervous" Justin stated

"Dude. You could''ve told me you were taking me to a fancy restaurant. I would''ve worn better clothes" I
said, making Justinugh even more.
"It''s okay Kylie. Really. I''m not even dressed up" Justin said, making me look at his outfit to realize that
he was dressed casually. "Besides. I don''t think anyone would judge the owner''s kid''s date"
I turned to look at him with wide eyes, and he just winked at me before going out of the car.

My door soon opened and I was greeted by a grinning Justin.
He then held his hand out to help me get out of the car.
He then offered his arm and I linked mine to it as he lead me towards his restaurant where he was
greeted by the waiters and waitresses, and other people who was eating.
Justin was telling me random stuff as we walked towards our table, when a guy from one table got up
and stopped Justin midway.
"Justin! What''s up buddy?" The guy said as he and Justin gave each other man hugs.
"Luis, man. How are you? Didn''t expect to see you here" Justin said
"Thought this would be the best ce for a dinner date" the guy said before switching his attention to
me "So who''s this?"
"Oh, this is Kylie. Luke''s stepsis" Justin said. Luis shed me a grin and held out his hand
"So you must be the girl Justin and Luke''s been talking about" Luis said "I''m Luis"
I simply smiled and shook his hand before Justin took my hand off Luis''. Wait. Luke’s been talkiing
about me?
"Dude. Get your own date" Justin joked, making both of them let out augh.
"Alright, well I''ll see you soon Kylie" Luis said
"You too" I said as me and Justin walked away and sat down on our seat.
Through out the date, I was only halfway through my food and I was already full fromughing at
Justin''s stories and jokes. The guy was literally a joking machine.
"So what about you?" Justin said as he sipped on his iced tea "What''s your story?"
"Well" I began as I thought about what to say "Of course, you know about my mom marrying Dave. My
best friends'' names are Mitch, Kenzie and ire. I''ve had two ex boyfriends, and I have a fake ID"
"Really?" Justin said as he leaned back "So you like going to clubs huh"
"Oh yeah" I answered "That used to be my weekend routine, to be honest"
"You know what? I don''t think you need a fake ID anymore" Justin said "Not that you look old or
anything, but ya know. Just one wink from you, and the bouncer would probably magically open the
door. You''re that hot" Justin stated, making me blush again.
"Personally, I just think of myself as averagely hot, but thank you" I answered, making Justin let out a
Soon, we finished eating dinner, then we headed off to that party Justin''s been talking about.
We arrived at a house that looked like a huge mansion, and music could be heard a couple of blocks
away.
Justin and I went inside, and the ce was filled with dancing people and drunk people making out, as
music sted through the room.
"Come on" Justin said as he took my hand and led me to the kitchen, while everyone there basically
greeted Justin.
After getting two bottles of beer, Justin led me to the dance floor and we began dancing.
Those dances were, however, interrupted by some people who casually asked Justin where Luke was
or who I was.
After thest person had left, Justin then led me out of the dance floor and onto the veranda which had
less people.
"You want me to get you another drink?" Justin asked, and I nodded. He then got up, and five minutes
"You''re awfully popr" I stated. Justin began rubbing his neck akwardly as he smiled sheepishly.
"Not really. I''m just a really friendly person" Justin stated "Besides. If Luke was here, I would only be
getting half the attention"
"I can''t imagine" I said, making Justin and Iugh.
"You''re amazing, Kylie. You know that?" Justin said, making me blush again. He then began rubbing
the back of his neck awkwardly again.
"I know this is gonna sound really weird and stupid, and I would totally understand if you''d hate me
after this" Justin began
"What?" I asked as I leaned forward to him. He then let out augh.
"I hope you don''t hate me after this though" Justin said, and before I could say anything, he tilted my
chin up and mmed his lips onto mine.
He then slowly began moving his lips, to which I did as well as I pulled him by his neck, and basically
we began making out right there.
Combined with the drinks I just had, my hormones were already screaming to get fucked.
"Wanna get out of here?" Justin asked, to which I nodded before biting my now swollen lip.
He then pulled me up and began leading me back inside and up the stairs.
I wasn''t a fan of gettingid at a house party, or gettingid at a random person''s room, but I wasn''t
As soon as Justin locked the door, we began kissing again.
The first thing I did was push Justin on the bed and straddle him while we made out.
Of course, before it could lead to anything more, Justin''s phone began vibrating.
At first, we wanted to ignore it.
But the vibrating didn''t stop, prompting Justin to look at his phone.
His eyes then grew wide before lightly pushing me off him.
"We gotta go, Kylie" He said
"Why?" I asked
"It''s almost 1am" He said, making my eyes grow wide as we both began to panic and leave the room.
I was d that nobody cared that Justin and I had just left the room together, nor that we were running
down the stairs really fast.
Here''s the thing.
Ever since mom got married again, my partying days and one night stands were over.
And it was because of the fact that mom was always home and she was not going to sleep until I got
home.
Like Justin said, we got to my driveway by 12:59.
And we sat there quietly as he turned his car off.
"Sorry about moving too fast" Justin said
"Which one? The car, or the fact that we almost hooked up?" I asked
"Both" Justin said "You mad?"
I let out augh before leaning forward to kiss him, which of course, shocked him.
"Goodnight Justin" I said as soon as I pulled out of the kiss
"Goodnight Kylie" he said. I shed him a smile before going out of the car.
Goddammit. My curfew was a fucking cockblock.
