    Lawrence looked down at my wrist with a twisted face. I was about to pull my hand away from it, but


    Peter stopped me firmly.


    “As you can see, we are nning to have a family bonding today, Mr. Saavedra,” Peter said seriously.


    “I hope you don’t mind if I join you?” Lawrence said as his eyes shifted to me.


    His eyes were dark and totally unreadable. My heart pounded even more because of the growing

    “Yes, you heard me right. I’ll go with my son.” A ridiculous grin spread over his face.


    The two looked at each other for a moment before I could feel Peter’s grip on me.


    “Why not? We’ll just eat outside, and I’ll take rence to the Man Zoo,” he said with finality.


    “Alright, so let’s go?” Lawrence said with a hint of excitement.
