Chapter 4: The Undivulged Academy

    Chapter 4: The Undivulged Academy

    Ian''s POV

I swung the huge double door open and marched into the room. Scott stillid asleep on the four post

bed. He looked so young and innocent beneath those white sheets. His ginger hair was disheveled and

some strands fell over his visage.

The rays of the sun was sneaking through the space between the closed curtains. I made my to them

and slid them open. I winced when the rays shone brighter on my eyes. Turning around, I sat on the

armchair next to the high windows.

Scott shuffled in the sheets and swerved in my direction. His eye lids shook and shot them open.

Raising his hand above his head, he sat up. He was in a white pajama.

He nced around the room, his eye widening and brows locking asionally. He seemed to be

stunned by the elegance of the room. I mean, who wouldn''t be?

The curtains were made of the most expensive silk one could find in the market. The walls were

painted white and the pirs at both sides of the door were of perfect gold. The veins of the sun

bounced off their surface. The mosaic tiles was abination of gold and white. Torches ced on the

walls were also made of the finest gold.

He moved back on the bed when he noticed me on the chair. "What are you doing here?" He peruses

the room. "What is the ce?"

    "The undivulged academy."

    "Never heard of it."

I twirled a hand in the air. "I guess the name exins that."

    "Why am I here?"

    "For your safety."

He exhaled. "That would have been easy to believe if I knew you. You''re a total stranger to me."

    "I know."

"So let me go back to school." He got out of the bed and looked at the golden clock above. "I''m sure

my friends will be looking for me by now."

I sighed. Here goes the part that I tell him to forget about his former life. I didn''t know why Albazar

always made me do this with the new recruits.

"I''m sorry, but you have to forget about your friends."

He shot me a look. "What?"

"Yeah." I nodded my head. "Once you''ve entered the walls of this institute I''m afraid you can''t leave it.

Except, when you''re on a mission."

"Oh my God." He ran his hands through his hair. "You can''t do this to me, please."

I exhaled and locked my fingers. "Did you see those things that attacked yesterday."

    He nodded his head.

"If we weren''t there, you could''ve been dead by now." I titled my head. "I know this will be hard for you,

but for your safety, you need to stay here."

He sighed and sped his hands. "At least can you guys show me where myptop is?"

    "Burnt."

    "What?"

"Albazar said he wouldn''t want you masturbating your life away." I smiled. "But that''s not why we burnt

it. Our institute is a secret one and we wouldn''t want anyone to know about it. So we had to destroy

anything they could track you with."

A tear rolled down his cheek. "Why me? Why?"

His voice was shaky and he sounded weak. He dropped back on the bed and ced his hands on his

    forehead.

"I''m sorry." I got up from the seat and sat next to him in the bed. "Sometimes, things happen. You just

have to go with where the wind takes you."

"As poetic as that sounds, I still feel like shit." He opened an eye and looked at me with a weak smile.

    I chuckled.

"You''re a nice guy." He sat up, the sheets rumpling. "You''re trying to make me feel better. Unlike your

crazy brother who knocked me out. I hate him."

I smirked. "A lot of people do." I tapped him on the shoulder. "When you get to know him, you''ll like

him. He''s not as bad as he seems, trust me." Dragging his sheets, I eyed the bathroom. "Now, you

    need to bath."

    "Why?"

"You''re now a new recruit at the undivulged academy." I neatly folded the sheets and kept them on the

arm chair. "You need to prepare for sses."
