    Chapter 5

Fen Qin sighed seeing how he would not take nothing for an answer. "I envy them because they have

so much in them. Their happiness, family, friends, and so much more. They all look so happy like they

cannot be broken from one another." Fen Qin stared down looking to everyone below once more.

"You have happiness as well." Xue Yahui looked to her wondering why she looked so sad. She had a

family as well, but she made it more like she was so distant from them.

"Not really. I wouldn''t call it happiness. More like nightmares." Fen Qin scoffed going ahead finishing

thest of her food. Leaving money for the waiter, Fen Qin was on her way back to find her things.

Xue Yahui ate little and left following Fen Qin. "Hey?"

Fen Qin didn''t bother to turn back since she already sensed him following behind her. "What did you

want?" Fen Qin started looking at the little herbs then to the silk and vegetables.

"I wanted to see if I can apany you." Xue Yahui had his hands held together behind him. Looking

down to see how Fen Qin didn''t answer back, but he took it as she didn''t mind. He saw her looking at a

few herbs before, but then turned to the vegetables. "Buy these." Xue Yahui had Fen Qin look at the

Kiomelo with their pink to green look.

"How do you know they are ripe?" Fen Qin gave Xue Yahui a look since she didn''t know how well his

    intuition of nts were.

"I''m the lord of Herb Valley. What do I not know?" Xue Yahui grabbed the small vegetables, cing

them into Fen Qin''s hands while he gave thedy money for them.

"A fellow man buying these for his wife." Thedy said which Fen Qin gave her a look.

"We''re not together. We met just by coincidence." Fen Qin was straight to the point looking to the

    woman who didn''t know.

"Oh... well. I think you both will get along well even if you met just by coincidence." Thedy smiled with

Xue Yahui smiling back, but he had nced down to see how Fen Qin didn''t smile or show any

    emotion at all.

Fen Qin went ahead with her day with Xue Yahui going along with her. Fen Qin never had anyone who

would follow after her besides Mu Shao Qing, but she was obviously busy with her own life. Being

followed by a man though, it had a different feeling for the most part for her.

Fen Qin had finished her shopping throughout the day with Xue Yahui still hanging around with her.

Leaning against the brick wall, she went ahead eating little snacks that she had bought. "I believe it''s

time that I take my leave now. I still have to finish some medicine."

"If it''s not too much to ask, may I go with you?" Xue Yahui smiled thinking that if she rejected then he

hoped Fen Qin could at least let him walk with her home then.

Fen Qin looked to him, but she didn''t seem to mind. They didn''t have anything with each other anyway.

Anyone she''s met in the past never had time to waste for her anyway. "Whatever." Fen Qin started

walking with Xue Yahui following behind her. They had left the market street that was now closing.

Fen Qin walked around the traps with Xue Yahui following in her steps. Being caught once in the trap

had him learn that she was known for being cautious of her home and herself. ''I can''t make the same

mistake twice.'' Xue Yahui repeated in his head knowing he could''ve been caught again if he acted like

    Xue Li.

Making it to the door, Fen Qin opened the door going inside with Xue Yahui closing the door behind

him. He looked to see how the entire ce was filled with the scent of medicine from all kinds. He knew

some scent of medicines, but most were unknown since they were newly made. Seeing how Fen Qin

was a busy woman who doesn''t waste any time. "You do not waste your time like others." Xue Yahui

went over to the jar of medicine which were allbeled. Seeing how organized Fen Qin was, he couldn''t

help, but smile to see this woman''s achievement.

"There''s never time to waste." Fen Qin said which Xue Yahui turned around to try and ask another

question by what she mean, but she had already gone outside to start making the next batch of

    medicine.

He looked around to not see any food which he figured she didn''t cook for herself. "Do you have any

pans?" Xue Yahui asked Fen Qin who pointed to the kitchen which had a bit of dust collected in there.

He coughed looking around to see how it wasn''t pleasant to see. Using his powers, he had the dust

and pans all cleaned within seconds.

Fen Qin didn''t mind since she didn''t even use the kitchen much. The only one who used it was Mu

Shao Qing who was of course was a far better cook than her. Mixing the herbs, she was thinking of

new recipes in the herb to better improve it. She knew that she was close, but there was still something

    missing.

Turning to look at her collection of herbs, she used the stepping stool to get the top herbs. "What are

you making?" Fen Qin heard Xue Yahui behind her.

Grabbing what she needed, she went down putting the herb into the pot. "It''s a secret." Fen Qin started

looking again into the book while stirring the herbs.

"Here. Try some." Fen Qin looked to see that Xue Yahui had some little snacks he made which she

didn''t think he could make. Fen Qin sighed going ahead and grabbing a small cookie. Taking a single

bite, her eyes widen a bit knowing how it was much sweeter than hers. "Is it good?" Xue Yahui couldn''t
