Chapter 3

    Chapter 3

Luo Liwei watched still munching on his cookies seeing how his aunt took ones pulse to find the illness

on someone. Fen Qin waited and waited still feeling Mu Shao Qing''s pulse. She could sense that Mu

Shao Qing was a bit hesitant or nervous.

Finishing up, Fen Qin should have expected something like this to happen soon. "Congrats, you are

with child again. I''ll prescribe some medicine for you to take." Fen Qin got up, going over to her herbs

of medicine. Looking at thebels and smelling the herbs to make sure they were the correct ones.

Going back to Mu Shao Qing and Luo Liwei who were waiting for her. "Here, you have to make sure to

take it daily." Fen Qin handed Mu Shao Qing a bag of herbs.

"Mother better give me a little sister." Both women looked down to Luo Liwei who continued eating. Mu

Shao Qing couldn''t helpughing at her little son while Fen Qin didn''t seem to care. Either they had a

little son or daughter next would vary. They had to wait till the time Mu Shao Qing actually goes into

"Let''s just hope for it." Fen Qin was looking to them knowing how she didn''t exactly care if it was a girl

or not. "Shao Qing, make sure to head back before the day ends. Your husband would be concerned if

you don''t make it back." Fen Qin said truthfully knowing how Lord Yi was.

Mu Shao Qing was still worried though for her older sister since she was alone now. Even though Fen

Qin has been living alone for a long time. It looked lonely still with her living by herself. "Sister Qin,

don''t feel like you are a bother to us. You are always weed into our home." Mu Shao Qing smiled

gently to Fen Qin who of course only nodded with her serious face.

Watching both leave her home, Fen Qin thought about how it would be nice to live with a few livelier

people, but she felt that she didn''t deserve any offers or happiness that others give her. "Silly Little

Moon." Fen Qin went ahead looking through her book of herbs once more. "I''ve found the cure of many

diseases and poison, but not for one." Fen Qin turned the pages to reveal one poison. "The Tomb

    Spite."

Fen Qin had been looking for a long time. Looking for the cure was difficult since there was no record

of the new man made poison. Fen Qin sighed taking out a small token of friendship. "Sister Qi, I won''t

break our promise. I won''t let you down." Fen Qin held the token tightly putting it back into her robe

    sleeves.

    ***

"Lord Xue?" The servant of Herb Valley went to see Xue Yahui. Xue Yahui was managing his own

herbs and nts in his pce.

"What brings you here?" Xue Yahui looked to see the servant who was the elderdy servant who had

been managing Herb Valley for thousands of years.

"The Great Healer came again to retrieve some nts. She didn''t get to find the ripe herbs so she said

that she''ll be back again when they are ripe."

"She should''ve asked me for some. Mines are ripe at this time. I do not mind giving her some since I do

not use them." Xue Yahui didn''t understand why Fen Qin didn''t want to just ask him for some herbs that

he had freshly grown and took care of by himself.

"She didn''t want to bother you. She said that she''ll be back when the unripe ones are fully ripe."

"What was she looking for?" Xue Yahui didn''t mind seeing guests here and there only if they wanted his

    resources to use.

"She was looking for the Starbush herbs."

Xue Yahui went over to his freshly grown Starbush herbs. Picking some up, he didn''t want to bother the

elder to take it to Fen Qin. "I''ll take it to her. If anyone asks for my presence then tell them to visit

another time." Xue Yahui informed the elder who bowed understanding.

Xue Yahui went ahead going to Fen Qin''s home that was in the Feline n. He didn''t know why she

decided to stay in the Feline n, but it may be that they do not bother her like other ns do. Seeing

her home, it wasn''t fancy or looking to be made of gold or silver. ''Even though she is known to be The

Great Healer. She doesn''t ask for any riches or anything valuable.'' Xue Yahui wondered about how this

    woman came to be.

He knew that he was not an immortal before, but he couldn''t exactly remember his past. He was said to

be a mortal before, but they had told him it was best to not remember any past memories.

Making it to the doorsteps, he knocked on the door hearing light footstepsing to open the door.

The next thing he heard was something that sounded like a switch which he then found himself caught

    in a trap.

    ***

Fen Qin had been very cautious for some time due to her past. It haunted her for a long time, it was

one of the reasons why she never wanted to remain in one ce.

She sensed her trap lift up meaning someone had been caught in her trap. ''Did they find me?!'' Fen Qin

was worried that they probably found her. Getting up, she ran over to the door. Opening the door, she

sighed seeing it was just a false notice.

"What brings Lord Xue here?" Fen Qin saw how calm he was. He didn''t seem to mind the fact that he

was held upside down in an invisible barrier.

"Umm... I came here to give you the herbs you were looking for." Fen Qin looked to him seeing how

calm he was about it. She sighed releasing her trap, seeing Xue Yahui fall to the ground.

He dusting himself off, taking out the herbs in his hands now. "Here, I wanted to let you have these."

Fen Qin stared at Xue Yahui not understanding why he woulde this far just to give her herbs that

    she needed.
