FEW HOURS EARLIER
Diaz slowly uncovered the bed sheets from his body, taking a quick nce at sleeping Maddie who was snoring gently on the bed beside him and his lips curved to a smile staring at her beautiful face for a while before kissing her cheeks.
“I will be back hazel.”
He whispered, superspeeding out of the room.
“I was wondering when you were going toe.”
Diaz heard Kia voice boom as he approached the living room.
“Just shut the fuck up and let’s n this out.”
He ordered, getting to where Kia was sitting down holding a small map in his hands.
“This will help.”
Kia muttered giving the map to Diaz who hastily opened it and smiled.
“The map of V city, thanks Kia.”
Diaz appreciated.
“Arnold knows you’ll being at noon and he will definitelyunched an attack on your way, hope you are prepared for it?”
Kia asked staring at Diaz who rolled his eyes.
“You know Arnold men are no match for me Kia but I’m just worried about Maddie, she’s just a human.”
Diaz muttered and Kia hummed, nodding his head.
“I might have a n for that.”
Kia announced, drawing a weird image on a piece of white paper on the table.
“A n?”
Diaz asked staring at the mysterious image which Kia had drawned.
“Yes Diaz, a n”
Kia affirmed.
“And what might be this n of yours?”
Diaz once again asked.
“Well, the n is actually a very simple n.
You and Maddison will have to leave at dawn so you can get to V city before noon and don’t worry about Arnold men, I will take care of them by recing you tomorrow.” Kia exined and Diaz smiled.
“That will do.”

“Prince Kia”
The arm men greeted, bowing their heads in respect with confusion clearly shown on their faces.
What the hell was he doing here?
They were expecting Lord Diaz, howe Prince Kia showed up instead?
Or was the information they received wrong?
“We are sorry prince Kia, we were expecting Lord Diaz not you.”
One of the men stipted, still bowing down.
“Diaz? so you guys thought y’all could eliminate him?”
Kia asked, letting out a mocking chuckle.
When will they grow up?
“Wait, y’all think you could eliminate him with those useless weapons?”
He asked amazed, staring at the useless weapons in his hands.
Were they dreaming or was it pure foolishness?
“Arnold sent you guys right?”
Kia asked, his eyes darkening.
He suddenly changed from a beautiful god who wasughing earlier to a frightening looking monster who had no traces ofughing some seconds ago.
A dark and dangerous aura emitted from him as he re hard at the men standing infront of him, who were already shivering.
“We don’t know what you are talking about prince Kia.”
One of the men denied, taking some slow steps backwards.
“Diaz would have reached the pce by now but guess what? y’all wouldn’t live to see him again.”
Kia avowed, his eyes turning bloodshot and fangs slowly crept out of his mouth followed by ws from his fingers, making him look terrifying.
“Fire!”
The leader of the armed men yelled and they released fire at Kia immediately which seemed to be a huge mistake as it made the monster more angry.
He let out a loud terrifying growl before dashing at the men.
“Retreat!”
The armed men leader yelled and the men ran into different directions.

THE PALACE.
A car drove into the gates of thergepound, halting at the garage and a man and woman emerged out of it.
“I hope Kia will be alright.”
Thedy muttered clutching tightly to the man, their faces finallying into view.
It was Diaz and Maddison.
“Kia would be alright hazel, he knows what he’s doing.”
Diaz assured, gently patting her hair.
“And remember Maddie, no matter what happens never leave my side okay?”
He added, making his way towards the door with her.
“Hmmmm” she hummed, nodding her head.
“Hey what’s wrong Hazel?”
Diaz asked noticing Maddie trembling hands.
“I… i don’t know Diaz, I don’t… I don’t know.”
She shuttered, trying to calm her trembling hands.
She didn’t know what was wrong with her but her hands wouldn’t just stop trembling.
It’s started immediately they arrived at V city, her hands just started trembling and she didn’t know the reason behind it.
Was she nervous?
was something bad going to happen?
She couldn’t stop herself as the questions just kept popping into her head.
“Hey, hey, calm down okay, I’m right beside you, I won’t let anything happen to you again.”
Diaz promised, bending down to kiss her hair and that seemed to calm her nerves a little.

She whispered and Diaz heard the fears in her voice.
“Nothing will happen to you Maddie, trust me when I say so.”
Diaz assured, caressing her trembling hands.
“How many days are we staying here?”
Maddison asked staring at Diaz with her deep green eyes.
“For two days Maddie, just two days.”
He replied as he continued stroking her hair.
Two days? it wasn’t long right?
Maddie thought to herself, trying hard to calm her trembling nerves.
“Just calm the hell down Maddison.”
Her insides yelled at her and she took a deep breath.
“Wee to the pce Hazel.”
Diaz announced, slowly opening therge doors and Maddie mouthed a “wow”.
How can a ce be so beautiful and shiny?
The interior were all made of gold.
Another “wow”escaped her lips as her eyes scanned the pce room and she saw four thrones standing elegantly in the room.
The smallest throne was made of bronze while the other two thrones were made of silver and thest one which was the most beautiful and elegant of all was made of gold.
“Are we in paradise?”
She asked, earning a chuckle from Diaz.
“No dummy, you are in V city.”
He replied.
“But it looks like we’rein a paradise, are you lying to me right now Diaz?”
Maddie teasingly asked, pouting her lips.
Diaz was about replying when he suddenly heard someone called his name from behind.
“Lord Diaz.”
