The Next Morning.
In a moderate bedroom in the Green vi, Amelia Pearls was sleeping peacefully in weird position.
Ringggg! Ringggg!
The piercing sound of her ringing cell phone, on the nightstand, echoed in the room.
She opened her eyes drowsily and yawned, stretching her hand to reach the nightstand. She peeped at
the caller and a slight frown appeared on her face.
What was he calling her for? she didn''t remember thest time he called her. And now he was calling
her.
She slide her thumb on the screen of the phone to pick it up, and raised it to her ear.
" Go downstairs! " His cold, deep, and husky voice sounded from the other end of the phone.
" Why, what happ......." beep! beep! Before she could finish, the beeping sound of the phone echoed,
indicating the caller had hung up.
She removed the phone from her ear and stared at it with a nk expression. he didn''t even bother to
even let her finish, and directly cut the phone like talking to her was a waste of time.
But wait a minute, Why would he tell her to go downstairs just like that?.
Something is not right. And for some reasons she was yet to know, a feeling of bad omen erupt in her
heart.
She stepped down from the bed and walked towards the bathroom.
She quickly washed her teeth and took a quick bath. After which she dried her chest-nut brown hair
andb it. She then slipped into a casual home wear and walked out of the room
Half way down the stairs, she heard a knock on the door, causing her to halt her steps.
Was he home? Was that why he asked her toe downstairs, but he had his keys.
When they initially got married and packed into the vi, they only had a key to get into the vi. And
either of them held the key. So when the other, who didn''t hold the Keyes home first, he would
have to wait for her toe before he gets in. And Amelia was always the person who held the keys,
because he leaves for work earlier than she does.
This caused some issues to arise between them. So, they devised a means to avoid more troubles.
The key was duplicated and each of them held a key to the vi.
Now why did he ask her toe downstairs to open the door for him?
" is he drunk or something? " She puzzled, taking one step after another, as she came down.
Then an obsurd thought struck her mind " or perhaps, he forgot his keys at his mistress house, since
he didn''t sleep at home Last night" She said mumbled with disdain. She felt her blood boil and her
heart suddenly twist in jealousy.
"If that''s the case, then he should stay outside or go back to his mistress" She said, defiantly as she
crossed her arms on her chest.
But.......
On a second thought, she walked to the door, and unlocked it.
However, when she opened the door, it wasn''t whom she had expected to see, she saw.......

In a dimly light room the cottons were dropped and the lights were turned off.
Two people entangled themselves on therge bed in the center of room.
The tall, muscr body of a man was lying on his back, while a snow white skinned woman was lying
next to him, with her head was resting on his broad chest as she stroke him gently with her slender
fingers while speaking in a soft and coquettish tone.
"Are you sure she will sign those papers?"
The man chuckled throatily."she doesn''t have a choice because I won''t give her any" He replied, a hint
of Ruthlessness could be traced in his voice.
Thedy smiled and pressed her red lips on his chest
"I do trust you"
He return, and kissed her hair and rubbed her back.
"It''s a good thing you do" He was going to make her sign those papers no matter what.

" Please may i know who you are? Amelia asked, with a confused expression.
She had opened the door, thinking it was Ethan, but instead she saw two men in business suits,
standing in front of the door. One was wearing a dark blue suit, and a neatly trimmed hair, making him
look serious in a professional manner. While the other was standing behind the one on dark blue suit,
holding a briefcase. He was wearing a ck suit and also had his hair trimmed and neat. But he looked
cool and not as serious as the other.
"Madam, I am Mr Ethan''swyer and this is my assistant"
Amelia felt her heart skipped a beat. Then the words he mentioned yesterday echoed in her head.
He said he was going to send hiswyers to bring the papers. But she never thought it would be so
soon.
Was he so egger to discard her?
She felt her stomach churned and her head spinning. Her chest tightened, painfully. She just stood
fixed on the ground, in a daze.
"Madam... madam" Thewyer called and she jolted out of her daze.
She blinked and swallowed. Then pushed the door open.
"Please go in" she said, drily.
This was it!
Thewyers Sat down on the sofa in the sitting room and she followed suit.
"Mr Ethan told us to bring the divorce paper, saying you are ready for the divorce" Thewyer gave a
start and stretched his hand towards his assistant and the assistant took out some papers from the
brief case and handed them to him.
"Here are the papers, please read it carefully" he urged, while passing her the papers.
She took the papers with shaky hands and closed her eyes, took a deep breath in and out. Before she
proceeded to read through them.
Every word she read in the papers, transformed into a needle that transports into her heart to prick it.
She stopped halfway through and raised her hand to wipe the ball of tears which has rolled out of her
eye.
She took a deep breath and let it out though her mouth. She didn''t know what will happen after this,
but....... she might as well do it.
She stretched her hand out and thewyer handed her a pen. She slowly retracted her hand, then
ced the pen on the paper.
" Madam...... madam........ madam"

Still in the dimly light room, the two people were still lying down speaking soft words while stroking
each other.
Just then the phone beside the bed rang, lighting up the room and causing a disturbance to the people
on the bed. Thedy, who was nearest to it, reached for the phone and peeped at the caller before
handing over the phone.
"It''s thewyer, wonder if they''ve got her to sign the papers" Shemented.
So soon? It wasn''t expected she would just sign the papers trying to cause some ''trouble''.
" What''s the situation, Barrister?" He asked as soon as he picked up the phone.
" Mr Ethan, she suddenly fainted and we took her to the hospital"
He rolled his eyes mentally. It wasn''t much of a surprise to him. He had expected her to y some
tricks so she wouldn''t sign the divorce papers. But he still asked anyway,
" Did she signed the papers?"
" Papers? No she didn''t; She had wanted to when she suddenly lost consciousness, so we took her to
the hospital"
" Did you check if she really lost unconsciousness?" To him, she might have been putting up an act to
fool them.
" When we saw her suddenly closed her eyes and fell back motionlessly, we tried to wake her up but
she didn''t budge. So we took her to the hospital"
He hummed, nodding his head. He wouldn''t bother himself with this. She could pull off any stunts she
wanted but it will not change anything.............
Whether she liked it or not, she would sign the divorce papers sooner orter. But he was sure of it,
that it would be sooner.
" Then why did you call me?" He asked nonchntly as he leaned back.

" She fainted and is in the hospital" He exined briefly before entering the bathroom.
Madison hissed and rolled her eyes. " She is just trying to avoid signing those papers"
But right now that didn''t matter. In the eyes of the public, they were still considered husband and wife.

Ethan Dan was sitting in front of the doctor, in his office.
The doctor; who on his usual white coat, with a stethoscope around his neck, sat with a straight back
as he spoke.
" Do you know this patient?" Though he knows he does but he just had to follow the norm.
Ethan lean back and nodded in confirmation. He did know her anyway. If he had his way, he would just
denial it straight away.
" Who is she to you?" The doctor asked again.
" She is my wife" He answered straightforwardly.
The doctor suddenly smiled and stretched his hand out for a handshake.
" Congrattions! Your wife is three months pregnant"
