That night was never repeated. Every time I wake up my breakfast is ready but she is not there. When I arrive at night the food is ready but she is also wasn’t there. When we meet identally she hurries to avoid me.


    She only talked to me once, when she told me that bills had arrived and there was no grocery. I brought her once to the mall. But when she talked to a man who was not looking at her face but at her body, I almost got into a fight.


    I don’t know if she’s stupid because she didn’t notice that or she really meant to show me that she can get a man in front of me. She really likes attention so she just needs to dress like that. Since then I have not let her out. Because I might just fight again every time she makes me look like she can get other people’s attention.


    But tonight I will be out with her again. Not just outside but at a party. Today is the Company’s anniversary of Dane’s family and everyone is there. They invited a lot of guests and we were included. Dane’s parents want to meet my wife. I can’t say no to them especially to her dad, because he is our major investor.


    The party was held at the Luxury Hotel. Since I am one of their investors I got the event hall.


    “Don’t make me embarrass,” I said to her when we were in the elevator. She did not respond to what I said. “Why you’re wearing like that,” I hissed. Seeing her wearing a dress that almost shows her body makes me angry.


    “Because I don’t have anything else to wear.”


    He wore a red dress above the knee. Close to body and one strap. It shows her perfect curve. She really wants to seduce.


    “‘Bro here.” Jace waved at us so we approached them.


    “Don’t make anything.”


    I noticed the way a few men looked at her. Others have almost stripped her. She just bent down and didn’t move.


    “How are you, Hailey loves?” Jace asked. Love? Maybe she shivered inside because someone noticed her.


    “I’m okay,” she calmly replied then looked at me.


    “Is this idiot fighting with you, Hailey?” Zeus asked and stood beside her.


    “That’s Dane ce, Zeus. Go to your seat.” Zeusughed then lowered himself to the table and stared at Hailey.


    “You’re really beautiful, Hailey.”


    “Zeus, don’t praise her,” I said annoyingly.


    “Why? I’m telling the truth. See, even though you’re together, almost all of the man’s eyes here are still on her.”


    “Go to your seat, Zeus.”


    “Jealous husband,”


    “Shut up, ze.” I looked at ze and give him a scared gaze.


    “Dane is already here with her family,” Jace said. Dane approached us together with her family so we stood up.


    “Hi, Hailey.” She kissed this woman and this woman did the same.


    “Hi, Dane.”


    “Mom, Dad, and siblings. This is Hailey, Phoenix’s wife,” she introduced this woman to her family. Dane has 4 siblings. 3 boys and 1 girl the youngest. I notice Dn looking at this woman from head to toe. Dn is the fucker of the three guys. There is no forgiveness when ites to women.


    “You made a good choice, Phoenix. Nice to meet, Hailey.” Mr. Damian Dy, the Dy Patriach.


    “Why would you introduce us one by one, Dane,” Dn said. It is not fashionable for them to be called sister and brother. Though Dane is the eldest, everyone called her by name. Their age gap is only one year apart except for the youngest. And since Dane is two years eldest of us, Dn is only the same on our age.


    “Sure,” Dane replied. “Hailey, this Dave, Dn, Dale, and Daze.”


    “Hi there.” I looked at Dn without taking his eyes off this woman. he even looks at her whole body. I don’t know what’s running through that idiot’s mind while looking at this woman’s body.


    “The party is going to start,” I interrupted. “We can continue chitchattingter, I think.”


    “Yeah, I will send daddy to their ce.” Dane goes together with her family.


    “Nice to meet you, youngdy,” Dane’s father said followed by her mommy.


    “Nice to meet you all, too.”


    “She’s nice, I like her,” Daze said.


    “I agree, innocent and sweet,” Dn said also then looked at me. “You’re lucky,” he added but I just smiled at him.


    “Shall we?” Dane has already invited her family.


    “You’re happy now?” I asked her when we sat down


    “Huh?”


    “Don’t feel innocent, you’re obviously happy with the attention they’re given and the praise you’ve received,” I whispered so as not to be noticed by mypanions.


    “I’m not like that.”


    “Shut up,” I say and give her an angry face. “I really made a mistake by bringing you here. And don’t talk, because no matter what you say I won’t believe you.”


    “Something wrong, sucker?” Zeus asked.


    “Nothing.”


    “You’re blushing even you haven’t even been drinking.” I just look at Jace when the MC suddenly announces that the party is about to start. Dane also came immediately and seat beside this woman.


    “Geez, Daze’s so irritable,”


    “Your youngest is really naughty, what’s new?”ughed Jace.


    “She wants to befriend Hailey.”


    “Ow!” said three at once.


    “But if of course, I said if it’s just friends why not. But not the way she wanted. Looking for a recement for her best friend.”


    “The party is about to start,” Dane muttered and looked at the stage as did mypanions.


    “Attention seeker,” I mouthed while looking at this woman. She bowed and did not speak.


    The party went on but I didn’t understand. Dane hired an event organizer and I guess the party went well ording to her n. Dane is very good at these things. Whatever she does is a huge sess. She never missed and she always impressed us.


    Jace called me to introduce some of his clients. I left that woman at our table. Maybe she’ll get tired and she won’t be able to rte. I talked of them one by one when I looked at our table the woman was not there. I frowned and looked around.


    “Jace, have you seen that girl?”


    “Who’s girl?” He asked with a smile.


    “That maniptive woman?”


    “Who?”


    “Damn you, Jace.”


    “Damn you too, you ask but you didn’t say the name or who you’re really looking for? All women are maniptive, especially in bed.”


    “Asshole!” But he justughed out loud.


    “Hey Zeus, have you seen that girl?”


    “Who’s girl?”


    “Even you?”


    “He said maniptive, Zeus, I said all girls are maniptive in bed,” Jace replied and they bothughed.


    “Both assholes.” I was just approaching ze when he spoke first.


    “Who’s woman are you looking for?” Shit! I can get revenge on you.


    “Fuck all of you, did you see —-” I really hate to mention her name, the more I don’t want to say she’s my wife.


    “That beautiful woman Dn was talking to, just now I saw her, who is that?” A woman in herte twenty’s said.


    “Maybe a new toy,” replied herpanion.


    “Ow, well not bad, they’re both not at a loss, the woman has a perfect curve and Dn has a huge — hahaha. You know.”


    “Poor girl, she’s so nice. Dn won’t let her go until he’s bored.” I clenched my fist, even though I hadn’t heard her name yet I knew she was what they were referring to.


    “What’s her name again? Hayle, Hayley, Hailey?”

    “Hey, rx, you don’t even know what they’re talking about.” I removed Jace’s hand that was holding my shoulder. I approached the woman then asked.


    “Where did you see Dn?”


    “Oh, hi, Phoenix, we saw him in the pool.”


    “Thanks.” Then I walked over there.


    “Hey, don’t be in a hurry,” but I didn’t listen to Jace.


    “Let him, so will see what he’s looking for,” Zeus said.


    “Zeus right, so you can take his hummer.” ze.


    “Yeah, yeah, yeah,” Jace said.


    I didn’t listen to them and I didn’t care what they are referring to. When we got to the pool I wasn’t even wrong. I saw that woman with Dn and they wereughing. Her foot was submerged in the water while Dn was squatting sitting but staring at the pool.


    She smiled seductively while Dn popped his cigarette asionally looking at her.
