Amelia POV


    “Yay, it’s baby shower!!!!!”Sophia squealed. Yes, it was her baby shower. Sophia and Larry decided to hold a baby shower in their home as she was due in three days. I was happy for both of them. They were finally going to wee their child into this world.


    Larry grabbed her hand and pulled for a hug. “I’m proud of you babe but don’t shout too much, it might stress the baby.


    Sophia chuckled and kissed his lips. “I love you, babe,” she said. I watched them with pure happiness, they looked good together and now their child was on its way “Amelia,e on join the group hug”Sophia motioned for me toe. We all did the group andughed.


    “My baby girl is strong” Larrymented.


    Sophia eyed him and ced a hand on her tummy. “Well, my baby boy is mum’s prince.”


    Iughed as I watched them arguing about the baby’s gender, they looked really happy together and I was proud of them. Guest troop in for the shower and drop their gift. everything was going on well until anna and Dn came in.


    “Who invited them? “Sophia whispered torry. she red at anna and gave Larry a “you are dead look”.


    Larry walked to her and pat her on the back to calm her down. “Babe I’m sorry for not telling you but Dn is our friend and he deserves to be here, I didn’t invite the bitch”.


    “Okay fine but if she tries to insult me or Amelia, I’ll pluck her eyes out”Sophia threatened. ughed at her threats.


    Dn and Anna walked to them and congratte them. “Thanks for inviting me Larry, congrattions to you Sophia,” Dn said.


    Anna walked to Sophia and handed over a gift to her. “Here, I’m sorry for what I did that day. Here is my gift to your little one “Anna Handed over the gift but Sophia didn’t collect it instead Larry collected it and thanked her.N?velDrama.Org copyrighted ? content.


    “Thank you both foring, please enjoy the party,” Larry said.


    When they left, Sophia nudge me on the shoulders and pointed at where Anna was standing. “That’s bitch thinks I’ll talk to her after stealing your man, oh hell no”.


    “Come on Sophia, Dn is not my man. We are not meant to be” I told her.


    Sophia didn’t give up and continued talking. “Don’t say that honey, if you guys are meant to be it will surelye to pass. Don’t give up” she said.


    I faced her and hugged her as my life depended on it. “Babe, let’s not talk about that for now. Today is your day and we got to celebrate it. ”


    “Okay then “Sophia took a spoon from one of the tables and hit it on her ss, all eyes turned to her.  “Okay everyone listens up, we wanna make a toast to our baby boy.. ”


    “Or girl” Larry interrupted and earned a p from Sophia. “Thank you all foring here, cheers to more joy” she raised her ss of juice and we all do the same except that it was a ss of champagne.


    The rest of the party went on and the guests all present their gifts to Sophia.  I gave her a gift and she thanked me as her life depended on it. “Thanks, bestie “she jumped and hugged me. “I love you! ”


    “I love you too” I replied. I looked around the room and I saw Dn’s staring at me as I hugged Sophia.  He was speaking with Larry and some guys but his eyes were on me. Ever since we came back from Paris, our greetings had be a professional one, we don’t longer act like friends. After what happened I didn’t want to have anything to do with him.


    I kept staring at him until anna came to block me from his view.


    “Hey there Amelia, it’s so nice to see you” she stated.


    “You saw me some minutes ago” I rolled my eyes at her sarcasm.


    “Well I didn’t notice you, sorry my bad” she ced her hand on her chest and gave me a mockery smile.


    “Anything going on here? “Sophia asked as she faced her.


    “Hey, Sophia”Anna greeted.


    “I’m tired of you greeting me, it sucks.  Larry invited Dn not you” Sophia pointed out.


    “Well “She raised her hand that shows a shining diamond ring on her finger. “We are getting married in a month, so I have to follow him everywhere “.


    “Like a puppy?”Sophia mocked andughed. I soon joined in theughter and saw anna ring hard at me.


    “At least I’m getting married, whereas some people are going to be single and miserable for the rest of their lives” sheughed hard but it wasn’t funny because she was talking to me indirectly I wanted to reply to her but Sophia beat me to it, she pped Anna. Well, that wasn’t what I was expecting. everyone turned their attention on us.


    Larry quickly rushed to his wife’s side and tried to calm her down.


    “Babe calm down, it’s not good for the baby” he pats her on the back to calm her down but Sophia was still adamant.


    “Oh hell no, I’m going to kill this bitch and feed her to the birds of the air,” Sophia argued, she rushed to Anna but stop midway and look at the ground. “Babe!!!!! My water just broke” she shouted


    “What? “Larry asked.


    Sophia screamed and touched her stomach. “Are you deaf Larry?” She yelled. “the baby ising”.


    “Oh okay baby sorry, Amy please get the baby belonging upstairs. “I quickly rushed upstairs and when I returned all the guests have left I guessed Larry sent them off. My mother helped Sophia calm down through the ride to the hospital, I didn’tter know what happened to Anna because all I care about was Sophia and her baby.

    When we got to the hospital, Sophia was rushed into the emergency ward and we all waited in the hallways. After waiting In the hallway for some hours, the doctor came to us and announced the birth of Sophia’s baby.


    “Congrattions it’s a boy “the doctor announced.


    Larry jumped and hugged me at the announcement of his child.


    “I’m a father, I have a boy,” he said happily.


    We entered the ward and met Sophia on the bed smiling. “Heytest mother in town” I teased her as we walked in.


    “Amy!! “She called. “I have a baby boy” she shouted and burst into tears of joy.


    Larry carried his son who looks tiny and stared at him with awesomeness. “Mum always said you we’re a boy and now you are here, I love you son”


    “Lucas Mildred banks”Sophia announced his name and we all pped


    “Aww nice name Sophia,” my mother said.


    Everyone was happy for the arrival of the newborn, it was a joyful event and I couldn’t help but think of how happy it would be if Dn and I had a child together. It was a stupid thought but I couldn’t help but think about it.
