Chapter 8 The Dream of Having A Fancy Car


    “Sure, ten million!” Josh Lin nodded.


    “Deal!” Shouted the bold guy, and there went his professional ethics.


    They gave Josh a bank ount and soon received five million from josh. Josh asked while they were


    still cheering:”So who gave you the order?”


    “Dayong Wu.”


    “Dayong?” Said Josh, squinted eyes zed with rage.


    They dropped Josh off the car after Josh transferred them five million again. Josh wanted no trouble of


    Shaw and his father after he fired them, but attempting to murder him was beyond Josh’s tolerance.


    “Shaw...you’ll get what you deserve!” Murmured Josh as he took out the phone and made a call to Bob,


    his new manager,”Bob, I’m around Tianlin road, pick me up here, got something we need to talk about.”


    Half an hourter, Bob parked his Benz near Josh.


    “Sir, it’s quitete, what are you doing here? It’s quite remote from downtown.” Asked Bob, surprised.

    “I’ll walk you through it.” Said Josh as he got in the car.


    On the way back, Josh told Bob everything.


    “How dare this bastard!” Uttered Bob,”Sir, Shaw and his father had been mooching off from our


    “Is it? Let’s get them there in the prison and leave them regretting there then, you do it.” Said Josh,


    eyes squinted. He was actually thinking about doing the same thing to the Wu’s, but Bob’s idea


    changed his mind.


    “Sure sir, you got me on this.” Said Bob with confidence.


    “And Bob, is Hongda Construction Materials in cooperation with us?” Asked Josh, it was Tiger’s


    company.


    “Yes.”


    “Would it be of harm to us if I put a stop to it?”


    “No, sir, we can just find anotherpany. This Hongdapany managed to be in cooperation with


    us because they bribed Shaw and his dad in the first ce.”


    “I see.”


    “And sir, quite many of our partners have know that you’ve be our new chairman, they all want to


    wee you, including that Hongda you mentioned.” Bob stopped for a while and continued,”I’m


    thinking about throwing a small party where you can meet them all, what do you think, sir?”


    “Sure.” Josh nodded.


    Then Bob drove Josh back to school and decide to throw the party on Saturday.


    In Liu’s Manor, Zhongzhou City, Moses was on a call.


    “Are you sure that Josh is safe now?” Asked Moses.


    “Yes, sir, I’ve been following him, he’s arrived at school safe and sound.” A croaky voice answered from


    the other side of the call.


    “Okay, how did you escape from the kidnappers?”


    “Don’t know, sir.” The voice answered, soon continued,”Should I kill Shaw and his father?”


    “No, Josh should take care of this by himself, this is something he has to learn. Gng, just stay


    around him and keep him safe.” Says Moses after which he hanged up the phone


    “Sir, Josh nailed this perfectly, and all by himself! I thought we would have to ask Gng to do the job!”


    Said Moses’ secretary, Zhang.


    “He surprised me too, thought he was too young to handle this by himself, but he surely did a good


    job.” Smiled Moses as he gently stroke his long beard.


    “I’m so curious about what he did to solve the danger!” Said the secretary.


    “So am I! Surely I’ll ask him next time hee here.” Laughed Moses.


    The next day morning, in the Wu’s vi, Shaw and Faye were in the living room.


    “Shaw, are you really sure that your n would work out?” Asked Faye.


    “Sure as hell! He’s doomed this time!” Shaw smiled, thinking that the n made by him and his dad


    was perfect.


    Dayong walked down from upstairs, looking anxious:”Have you got a call from them, son? I tried calling


    them but none answered.”


    The four guys should’ve taken care of Joshst night and called them already, but neither Shaw nor his


    father got any calls or texts from them, not to mention that Dayong just found out that the bald man’s


    phone’s off.


    Shaw got anxious as well:”Could it be that...something went wrong?”


    “It shouldn’t be! Our n is perfect! Maybe his phone ran out of power, let’s just wait.”


    Suddenly there came someone knocking on the door.


    “It must be the baldy!” Said Shaw as he ran to open the door with Dayong in tow.


    The door was opened, and they were met with Bob.


    “Bob?” Eximed Shaw and his father.


    “I’m here to tell you that our Chairman, Mr Josh Lin, is safe and sound. The little trick of yours is just too


    sloppy to do him any harm.” Said Bob, smilingly.


    “What? He’s fine?”


    Eyes filled with disbelief, Shaw and his father had no idea how did Josh escape from their n.


    “Yes, his fine, but you won’t!” Bob sneered, and eight policemen burst in the vi and detained Shaw,


    Dayong, Faye and everyone else of Wu’s family.


    “What the hell are you doing!” Shaw and Dayong both shouted as Faye was trembling in fear.


    “Don’t you have any idea of how much money you had mooched off from us? I’ve got the evidence and


    now it’s your turn to take the consequence!” Bob sneered again.


    “What?” Uttered Dayong, he knew it clearly.


    “Our Chairman thought firing you two was enough and had no intention of spiting you any further, but


    look what you did in return! Now you have to pay for it!”


    “Dad, no! I don’t want to be put in prison!” Shaw uttered in fear.


    Dayong just pped him hard on his face:”It was all because of you! Why did you have to mess with


    Josh and his affairs of romance in the first ce!”


    “Take them!”


    Faye was left alone in shock in the house, for she would lose everything if Shaw ends up in prison. She


    couldn’t help but thought about how different things could be hadn’t she dumped Josh and chose


    Shaw, she could’ve benn a Mrs Chairman.


    But what had been done, done.


    On the other side of town, Josh skipped the sses and headed to a 4S shop of cars, he used to be


    poor, but his knowledge of cars wasn’t. He’s already got the idea of what kind of car he wanted.


    “This is it.” Said Josh as he arrived at a Lamborghini 4S shop.


    He still remember having seen a Lamborghini running on the street before, he was fascinated by the


    fancy look of this type of sports car and was sure that it was the most beautiful car he had ever seen.


    He had been dreaming about having a Lamborghini, which was impossible to him before. But now he’s


    got the money and was only one step away from making the dreame true.


    He walked right in the shop and found there weren’t many customers inside, since not everyone could


    afford a Lamborghini.


    “Wait, sir!” Josh was stopped by a salesman near the entrance, who said:”Are you...Josh?”


    “Yes, and you?” Replied Josh, he found the salesman familiar.


    “I’m Jimmy, we were ssmates in primary school, don’t you remember?” Laughed the salesman.


    It immediately rang a bell in Josh’s mind:”Jimmy! Man, look at you now, got a decent job, didn’t you?”


    “A pretty good one!” Said Jimmy with a tinge of pride, since he noticed the clothes on Josh which led


    him to the conclusion that Josh must be leading a wretched life, which further boosted his pride.


    “So what are you doing here, Josh? Looking for a job here? As you can see, we sell fancy cars here,


    and staffs are all required to have a fancy taste in cars as well.” Said Jimmy, smiled but still haughty.


    “No, Jimmy, I’m here to buy a car.” Said Josh.
