    “Why is it also for you to understand that Whitestone kingdom needs a Luna queen and you need a wife?” Lord Fredrick fired back.


    “Just give me some time, father, and let me think about it.” Derrick said with his hands folded into a tight fist.

    Mr Nichs stepped out of the bedroom dressed in a ck tailored suit with a suitcase in his left hand.


    He walked to the living room and dropped his suitcase on a couch before walking to the kitchen.


    An unpleasant odour hit his nose immediately he stepped inside the kitchen, and he coveted his nose with his hand.


    A deep frown appeared on his face as he stared at the disgusting sight in front of him.


    Littered in the basin were dirty dishes which have not been washed for more than two days. The kitchen also looked dirty and unkempt, attracting flies and insects.


    Nichs angrily walked out of the kitchen and went straight to Vanessa’s bedroom. He knocked on the door loudly and Vanessa who was sleeping jolted up from bed.


    “Open this goddamn door, Elizabeth!!” Nichs shouted, banging the door angrily. Vanessa immediately climbed out of the bed and she rushed to the door to open it.


    “Good morning d…..” Nichs gave her thunderous p before she couldplete her statement.


    The impact of the p made Vanessa stagger backwards and she held her cheek with a shocked expression on her face.


    She was shocked because she has never been pped by her father. He always treated her like an egg and has neverid a finger on her. But that same father just pped her early in the morning.


    “And why the hell are you still sleeping by this time, huh?!” Nichs asked in anger, and Vanessa flinched in fear. “Shouldn’t you be washing the dishes and cleaning the house, or do you think there’s a maid who’s gonna do the house chores, huh?”

    Mrs Lisa rushed of her bedroom to see what the cause of the noise was. She was shocked to see tears on her daughter’s face.


    “What’s going on here, Nichs?, And why is Vanessa crying?” Mrs Lisa threw different questions at her husband.


    “You wanna know what’s going on here and why she’s crying, huh?” Nichs asked back.


    “Yes, I wanna know.” Lisa replied.


    “Well, I pped yourzy and godforsaken daughter, and that’s the reason why she’s crying.”


    “Why?” Lisa asked, and Nichs raised a questioning brow at her.


    “Why what?”


    “Why did you p Vanessa?” Lisa asked angrily.


    “You didn’t just ask me that question, did you?” Nichs asked back.


    “Yes, I asked you that question, and I demand for an answer.” Lisa replied


    “Oh, you also wanna know the reason why I pped this nipoop you call your daughter?” Nichs asked, giving Vanessa a disgusted look.


    Vanessa bursted into more years and ran inside the room without closing the door.


    Lisa sighed out in anger.


    “For Pete’s sake Nichs, stop insulting Vanessa. She is our daughter so give her some respect and stop calling her names.” She said.


    “Vanessa deserves all the names I’m calling her.” Nichs retorted. “She’s nothing but azy brat, a fool, an idiot and a scallywag.”


    “At least she’s better than that human daughter of yours.” Lisa fired back.


    “Don’t you darepare Vanessa with Ortega!!” Nichs barked, and they both flinched in fright. “Ortega is far better Vanessa in every aspect. She wakes up before everyone in this house and she does the house chores. Unlike Vanessa, Ortega knows how to cook and she is very hardworking.     “Did you just yell at me?” Nichs asked, moving closer to Lisa.

    Nichs gave her an ear-deafening p before she couldplete her statement. He pounced on her and started raining punches on her face.


    “Don’t ever yell at me again you hideous bitch!!” Nichs yelled as he disorganised her teeth with his punches.


    “Arghhhh!! Nichs please!!! Please I’ll.. never yell at you again!!” Lisa cried out in pain as Nichs continued punching her face.


    “Stop dad! Please stop!” Vanessa ran out of the room and tried to hold Nichs’s hand in order to stop him from assaulting her mother, but Nichs pped her with the back of his hand, making her fall on the ground.


    “Always learn to respect me and speak to me in a respectful manner.” Nichs said, and he continued punching Lisa until he was satisfied.


    By now, Lisa’s face was unrecognisable. Her face was badly bruised and disfigured.


    “This is just the beginning of hell for the both of you. I’ll make your lives miserable and you’ll beg for death.” Nichs said and turned around to leave.


    “And one more thing, Elizabeth.” He turned to look at Vanessa who was crying beside her mother. “The next time youpare yourself with Ortega, I’ll beat you till you fall intoa. Nonsense.” He added, and walked away.
