Chapter 40: DIVISION


    PANDAVAS PALACE


    Vidur was in the Pandavas pce giving them the suggestion, "putra you will have to ept whatever


    they give even if it''s less." They all agreed and Bheem asked, "but which city is big enough to be our


    capital?" To which Draupadi asked, "Is there A city where no one stays and where there is fear of


    rakshas?" Yudhisthir replied, "there is one Panchali, Khandavprasth." Hearing this Aadhya asked, "but


    jesth bharata there no one can live as Indradev promised Dakshak that no human will reside there,


    what will we do?"


    Yudhishtir replied, "Aadhya we shall talk to Dakshak as we have no intention to harm them they will


    understand." Aadhya nodded in hopes that everything will go well. She saw everyone''s concern face so


    she changed the topic saying, "well I''m happy thinking how pitamah and mata will now live their lives in


    peace there. They have gone through so much, they have sacrificed so much, now they will live


    peacefully and A little happier." Hearing this everyone smiled and Arjun said, "you are right Aadhya


    now it''s their days to have A rest." Aadhya smiled more hearing this and said, "now I can''t wait to see


    them in peace."


    After talking some more they called it A day. On the other side, Bhisma slept with A heavy heart and A


    new responsibility that will only end with his death.


    MORNING


    Aadhya just returned from her morning prayers. A maid entered and said, "Rajkumari Maha Mahim


    Bhisma asks permission to enter." Hearing this Aadhya says, "let him enter." Hearing about Bhishma''s


    arrival, Aadhya was perplexed for a moment. Composing herself she asked politely, "Pranipat Pitamah

    Both look at each other emotionally before going towards the royal kitchen. They were about to reach

    triumphant smile. After getting far away from Draupadi''s sight, Aadhya and Bhisma went towards the


    garden sitting area and sat down to enjoy thedoos.


    Bheem was surprised that his te ofdoos haven''t arrived yet and came out of his chamber to ask


    about it and saw Draupadi passing by. Bheem went towards Draupadi and said, "Drau is everything


    alright?" Draupadi looked with confusion and asked, "yes arya why do you ask so?" Bheem with A sad


    pout replied, "it''s just that mydoos haven''t arrived yet." Draupadi then asks, "how can that be Aadhya


    and Pitamah were bringing you yourdoos."


    Bheem now knew the reason and said, "that''s what you did wrong Drau, Aadhya always just wants


    chances to steel mydoos and you gave her the whole te. My preciousdoos!! I shall take the


    te back as fast I as can." Saying this he left Draupadi while using his nose as A guide. The other


    Pandavas entered and Yudhishtir asked, "Panchali where did Bheem left in such A hurry" to which


    Nakul added, "yeah he ran like hisdoos were stolen" making other Pandavas chuckle. Drauapadi


    smiled and said, "yes you are right arya Nakul, Aadhya and Pitamah stole arya Bheem''sdoos that''s


    why he went in search of them." making all the Pandavas shocked. They followed the path Bheem did


    to see what will happen.


    They catch up to Bheem and follow him. They realized that they have reached the garden and going


    further all six of them see Bhisma and Aadhya enjoyingdoos and talking. They all smiled at the scene


    but Bheem who can''t see hisdoos being eaten marches towards them and says, "Aadhya!!!!!!!"


    making Aadhya and Bhisma turn towards the voice and they see the six of them. Aadhya looked at him


    in fear of getting caught and Bhisma eats the halfdoo in his hand as fast as he can.


    When Bheem came closer to them Bhisma says, "well Putra you see, I''m the innocent one, I just ate


    thedoo Aadhya offered as we can''t reject food it is not good manners to do so." Aadhya now looked


    at Bhisma shocked about being betrayed and said, "pitamah it is not good to lie! it is bad as well." To


    his defense, Bhisma was about to say something but Bheem says, "both of you stop." Both of them


    looked up with A puppy face and then Aadhya got up with Adoo in her hands and before Bheem


    could speak she stuffed his mouth with thedoo and said, "well now you can''t do anything. We already


    ate A few so it''s better to join us." Aadhya shes A bright smile after saying that melting Bheem''s


    heart and Bheem cleared his throat and says, "yes you are right, let me enjoy thedoos."


    Aadhya sighed in relief and gives A mission aplished look to Bhisma who nodded in reply and he


    turned to the others and said, "you alle as well" to which they all nodded and went towards them


    except Draupadi who said, "I have some work left but I shall tell A dasi to bring more food anddoos."


    everyone nodded in thanks and that''s how grandfather and his grandchildren enjoyed the morning.


    After returning to their pce the Pandavas got ready to leave for Rajya sabha. Reaching Rajya sabha


    they settled down and Dhritarasth said, "Putra Yudhishtir After thinking about this topic I think it''s better


    that we do A division and give you half of hastinapur and dere you the king of the other half, so tell


    me which city you chose as your capital city."


    Yudhishtir got up ad said, "the city I want my capital to be is khandavprasth." Hearing this Dhritarasth

    After the Rajya Abhishek was done Dhritarasth said, "since your Rajya Abhishek is done I want to


    remind you some things, remember you can''t be fully independent till 100 kings agree that you are A

    After that Yudhishtir went towards Dhritarasth to take his blessings. After he took the blessings

    Yudhishtir replied, "tatshree I won''t attack my own house, I''m going to another city but I won''t forget my

    Dhritarasth smiled assuredly and said, "Kunti I would love if you stay with your jiji and give us a chance


    to take care of you, it''s your jiji and my humble request" Hearing this all Pandavas teared up as they


    knew Kunti won''t reject this request. Kunti wasing downstairs making Aadhya came forward as


    well and before Kunti can say something she joined her hands and said, "mata before you say anything


    please give me permission to speak something" Kunti nodded in reply.


    Aadhya turned towards Dhritarasth and asked, "tatshree can you answer my one question?"


    Dhritarasth replied, "of course putri you can ask me anything." Satisfied with the answer Aadhya asked,

    ended after this and the Pandavas got ready to depart to Khandavprasth tomorrow.


    KUNTI''S CHAMBER


    Kunti, Draupadi, and Aadhya were in Kunti''s chamber. The Pandavas went to do some official work.


    Aadhya kept her head on Kunti''sp and said, "mata you almost agreed to tatshree''s request, I''m so


    d you areing with us, or I wouldn''t want to go to Khandavprasth without you." Kunti smiled


    hearing this and said, "putri now don''t be sad I''ming with you." Aadhya nodded and decided to


    take a nap so she closed her eyes.


    Draupadi said, "yeah mata I''m d you areing with us, as I wouldn''t be able to do everything


    alone in these times and it might have been tough on the baby as well."She kept her hand on her


    stomach, making Kunti smile heartedly and causing Aadhya to jump from her position and excitedly


    asked her, "really bhabhi?" to which Draupadi shyly nodded and Aadhyaughed in joy saying, "this is


    such amazing news I''m so happy bhabhi!!! I will not leave your side now." And hugged Draupadi


    happily while Kunti and Draupadi smiled.
