” You must find it strange that I’m interested in you.” He stared at him, making him feel nervous.


    ” What do you want?” Wilson fired at him.


    ” Mia Sabastine. You know yet right?”


    He was stunned


    ” Who are you and what do you want?” He yelled at him trying to show he wasn’t scared.


    “Talk to me like the man you are, thedy isn’t here. Speak up.”


    “Who are you, Man?


    ” Mia was kidnapped, I have every right to know your movements for thest four hours.” He said dressing his cor.


    Wilson pushed his hands away,


    ” No…you don’t. You know I can get your arrested for this .”


    ” Take,” handing over a phone.” Call the authorities and I’m certain they will be interested in your moments. You can’t talk to me but surely you can talk to the authorities.”


    Wilson was already panting hard, as fear caught him. He won’t dare touch the phone, this man was making things difficult for him but who was him? Why did he know so much.


    ” Aaron?” She called, Wilson heaved a sigh of relief.


    Things were beginning to go tough.


    ” We have to go, remember Antiono called to pick up mum.” She said in a whisper.


    Aaron watched Wilson with death stares before he left.


    As soon as he was out of the coffee shop and had driven out, Wilson put on his sunshades and left. The sun wasn’t there anymore but he didn’t care, he needed to hide himself. He found it safe to hide his eyes.


    He found a safe spot and took out his phone to dial Charlotte’s number. It rang but she didn’t take it, he tried again and she answered.


    “What the heck do you want?” She thundered over the phone.


    ” Who is Aaron?” He asked, he took noticed of the name when Piper called him


    ” Who’s that?” She pretended not to know.


    ” Don’t pretend like you don’t know. You surely know the family to whom you’re marrying into.” He ordered.


    ” Don’t scold me. I am not your child.”


    ” Please Charlotte, tell me who Aaron is.” He couldn’t believe he was pleading with her, but he didn’t care. She was the only one who could help him at this point.


    “Aaron is Antiono’s best friend. He’s treated like a family member. But why do you ask?”


    ” I don’t think it’s necessary.” He ended the call afterwards.

    ” How did you meet Wilson? You know him before now?” He asked as soon as they got into the car.


    ” No…we just met at the coffee shop. You were going to kill him with your scary eyes.” Sheughed exposing her lovely sparking dentals.


    “I don’t like him at all. Don’t like his looks.”


    ” You judge so easily, Aaron.” She faked being angry.


    ” What if I’m certain. What if it’s not a mere usation?” He asked, looking straight at her.

    “Just stay away from him. Antiono won’t even want to hear about this. ”


    ” Bossy brothers.” She muttered under her breath but she could swear he heard her.


    “Put on your seat belt, your mum and your new sister-inw will be waiting for you. ”


    ” You mean yourself right? Because I have no business there.”


    ” Will you ever get over your hatred for Charlotte.”


    ” I don’t like her. She’s rude, I feel she’s not a nice person. Like a pretender.”


    ” Here’s the judgement you talked about. Maybe you don’t know her.”


    ” Enough of the pretence Aaron. We both know mum is her only fan. You don’t like her, neither do Antiono and I.”


    ” You got me Youngdy, put on your seat belt and let’s go. I don’t want any more scolding.” He warned, she smiled at him before wearing the belt.


    Once she was  done, he started the car and drove as the speed limit could carry.


    The ce where Antiono had ordered for them to be picked up was not too far from where he was, just about 10 minutes drive.


    He got there and met Mrs. stor, she wasn”‘t looking happy at all.


    ” Mother !”Piper called out as she ran to hug her. The call brought Mrs. stor to reality as she hugged her tightly.


    ” How are you mother?”she asked.


    You see how I am, Piper. You look quite malnourished, are you eating properly at all. I told Antiono to take care of you, but no. He doesn’t listen.” Mrs. storined bitterly.


    ” Oh mother. Enough of theins. Let’s go home together and we would both scold Antiono.”


    “I’ve packed the bags, I can’t find Charlotte anywhere.”


    ” She had to take a call. Look, here shees.”


    ” Hello Charlotte.”Piper greeted as she hugged her.


    Sometimes he wondered what the two women were up to, one could never tell what was in a woman’s mind. The same person she imed she dislike was the same person she was hugging warmly.


    ” Mother, I can’t join you. I got an urgent call and I have to go now.” Charlotteined, she looked frightened.


    ” What is it?”


    ” My mum is in bad health, she needs me urgently.” She lied.


    ” That’s awful,  you have my permission to leave. Take care of her and yourself. we would talk in the evening.”


    ” How will you go there? I can drive you there then take mother home.”


    “No it’s fine…I will order a ride like I did.”


    ” Aaron is right. Join us.”

    ” Okay then. Take care and tell your mum I will visit her soon.”


    ” You know why Antiono is so busy?”

    ” I observed. once he gets married to Charlotte then I’m sure half of our problems will be solved.”


    Aaron didn’t bother to listen to their discussion, he was more concerned about Charlotte. She looked agitated and this was the first time she was lying but what could be so important that would make her lie. He walked away to phone Charlotte’s mum


    ” Hello ma’am, this is Aaron. You remember?”


    ” Yes…I remember. How are you?”


    “I’m good, was just checking on you since I heard you were down with a fever.”.


    “Down with a fever, I’ve not falken suck for the past 3 months. You know I’m hardly sick, you just have the wrong information.”


    ” I presumed so, but I just wanted to check on you.”


    ” That’s a fine thing to do. How is Antiono and Charlotte. She hasn’t been taking my calls.”


    ” Really?”


    ” Yes…we haven’t spoken for two weeks. I’m really concerned.”


    ” Don’t worry so much ma’am, She’s fine and you know she’s with Antiono. Maybe she doesn’t want to be disturbed.”


    ” Will you talk to her on my behalf? Tell her I’m so worried about her ”


    ” I will do that ma”am.”


    He ended the call on that note.
