    "How is my baby" were the first words that came out of my mouth as I opened my eye slowly. It was all


    still blurry but got better as I opened it wider. I could see Hawa sitting in by my side.


    "You''re awake!!!" Hawa said excitedly as she ran out to get the doctor I guess. Momentster I saw


    the doctor walk in. I was still a little bit lightheaded and I still felt some pain in my abdomen.


    "I am d you are awake, how are you doing" The doctor asked standing by the bed with Hawa

    "I really don''t know how I feel"


    "You will feel better with time" he assured.

    "Doctor, how is my baby" I asked in a low tone then I watched how both Hawa and the doctor


    nced at one another.


    "How is my baby doctor" I said again but now tears dropped down my eyes because I had a feeling


    something bad had happened.


    "There was a miscarriage as at the time of your arrival at the hospital it was alreadyte and there


    was nothing we could do" he exined and I had never felt so heartbroken in my life, I felt like my


    whole life just crumbled, I felt no life in me. I felt devastated and furious at everything. The tears


    dropped uncontrobly and even though I was trying to control it, I couldn''t. I just lost the one thing I felt


    could finally give me peace.


    "Tes, it''s going to be Alright" hawa said as she touched me gently after the doctor left.


    "You don''t know that" I said then turned my face to the other side as tears rolled uncontrobly from


    my eyes. This was the worst moment of my life and it wasn''t going to get any better I thought.


    "Your mum said she is on her way here by the way" Hawa informed but I still didn''t turn to look at her.


    "Ridwan also went to your ce to pick up some of your stuffs" immediately I heard Ridwan''s name. I


    finally found someone to me for all my misery. Ridwan was the cause of all of my pain and


    heartache and no one could tell me otherwise. There was nothing anyone could say that would change


    my mind about that.


    Immediately hawa mentioned Ridwan''s name, I sudden heard his voice as he entered into the room.


    "She is awake" Hawa said


    "Tes" Ridwan said trying to move closer to me then I turned to look in his direction.


    "Please go,I don''t want to see you!!!" I eximed.


    "Tes, calm down what''s wrong. This is your husband" Hawa said.


    "Hawa, I don''t want to see this man, tell him yo leave" I said facing hawa.


    "You killed my baby" I said facing Ridwan.


    "What do you mean by that" Ridwan said "it''s my baby too remember"


    "You did this to me" I said with tears in my eyes. "If only you didn''t lock me in that house, if only you


    didn''t try to keep everyone away from me. Maybe, just maybe I could have gotten to the hospital earlier


    and my baby would still be with me. " I exined in tears.


    "Tes, you know all I do..." he was about toplete the statement then i did.


    "Is to protect me right, now see where your protection as ended me" I said then


    "Just leave!!!" I screamed thenyed back on the bed facing the other side.


    "Maybe you should leave, she is still recovering, give her some time" hawa said to Ridwan.


    Ridwan then left and I was still left crying.
