    The next morning

    The bawling of my rm woke me up.


    I turned on the bed and groaned…


    Is is morning again?


    Gosh!


    I tapped the bed sleepily and yawned…


    I’m still feeling sleepy tho.


    I shut the rm off and shifted on the bed.


    I positioned the pillow under my head properly.


    I don’t even feel like going anywhere today.


    I just want to stay in bed all day..


    Phew.


    I closed my eyes and tried to get some sleep.


    As I was slowly drifting away into it, a knock suddenly sounded on the he door, interrupting the moment.


    Geez…


    “Since when did you started knocking, Samantha?”I asked without opening my eyes.


    “Miss?”another voice sounded at the door instead.

    I sat up and rubbed my eyes…


    “What about S…”I wanted to ask but paused when I remembered what happened.

    I literally forgot..


    “Uh..e in”I said and the door went opened with the maiding in.


    “Good morning, Miss”she greeted with curtsy.


    “Morning”I replied.


    “You mother asked me to prepare your bath, I’m I permitted?”she asked.


    “Of course”I replied and she nodded and scuttled to the bathroom.


    I stood up and slipped my leg in my floppy slippers.


    I undressed and wrapped the towel around me.


    I walked to my closet and picked out my school uniform then the ck sneakers Mom got for me yesterday and my other wears.


    I walked back to the room and dropped them on the bed.


    I started walking to the bathroom and I bumped into the maid when I opened the door.


    “I’m sorry, miss”she quickly apologized.


    “When you’re not even the one that made a mistake”I rolled my eyes and walked inside.


    “I’ll get going now”she said from behind and I nodded.


    I heard the door shut and I sighed and untied my towel then hung it on the hanger.


    I stepped inside the bathtub and started rubbing the soapy water on my body.

    I clumped down the stairs with my school bag.


    I headed to Sam’s room to check up on her.


    I opened the door and entered.


    She was seated on the bed and having her breakfast.


    She turned to me and beamed.


    “Fontana”


    I smiled and walked closer to her then hug her from the side.


    “Hey”I said and pulled away.


    “Hey”she replied.


    “How are you feeling?”


    “Fine, thanks”she nodded.


    “I should be the one to thank you for saving me”I said.


    “That was nothing. If you’d get hurt, your parents would have ate me up alive”she joked and carried the cup of tea that was ced on the tray in front of her and sipped from it.


    “But, anyway, thanks. What you did takes a lot of courage”I appreciated and she nodded.


    “Even though I did what I have to do, you’re wee anyway”she shrugged.


    “Okay, I will get going now. I’lle back to check on you when I return back from school”I said.


    “I will get off this bed very soon. It’s boring in here and besides, my wound is better off now, a little though”she exined.


    “Can’t you just take a day off work today?”I scoffed.


    “Nah… can’t do”she shook her head.


    “Fine. I’ll be off now”I said and she nodded and waved her hand at me.


    “Hm, bye”I waved back and walked out of her room.


    I went to the dining room for my breakfast.


    My parents are not on the table which means they’ve left for work.


    I sighed, drew back a chair and sat down then began eating my food.

    After some minutes, i was done with my food.


    I cleaned my mouth with the napkin and stood up.


    I walked out to the parking lots and and saw the guards standing beside three cars.


    They bowed when they saw me and hurried inside the cars.


    I moved to my garage and entered my ride.


    The driver started the engine and one of the cars which the guards upied drove out first then my driver followed behind.


    From the rearview mirror, I could see the other carsing behind us.


    Hmph.

    The cars drove inside the schoolpound and I watched as students passing by stopped to have a look as they drove inside the lots.


    I carried my bag and stepped out.


    “Fontana Longworth?!!”one of the students shouted as she saw me.


    Students rushed out from inside to also have a look.


    Gosh!


    The guards rushed out from the other cars and came to surround me as I walked towards the premises.

    I looked at the crowd and smiled at them as they waved at me happily.


    How life works.


    All this people hated me when I’m still me, me with the sses.


    But, look at them now.


    I saw Pe and Cassie and smirked at them.


    I will make their lives in this school miserable from now on.


    But where’s Mia?


    Well, that doesn’t concern me anyway.


    I stifled augh when I remembered how she passed out yesterday when she saw me..

    I sighed and wanted to remove my eyes from them when it got caught with Darrel’s.


    He was standing in the middle of the crowd.

    I smiled at him and waved at him happily.

    We walked inside the school lobby and the shouts still went on.


    “Miss Longworth”someone called and I turned around and stopped walking.


    It was the principal, two women were with him also.


    “Good morning, sir”I greeted.


    “Oh, yeah, miss Fontana. It’s really an honor having you in our school”he smiled as he got infront of me and I nodded.


    “Thanks”I replied.


    “Uh.. this way, please. I need to get you registered”he gestured towards the way that leads to his office.


    “I already registered”I replied him.


    He stared at me confused.

    “I’m the same girl as Fontana Floyd”I cleared out his confusion and he was taken into surprisement this time.

    The bell chimes and I smiled and bowed at him.


    “I’ll get going now, sir. You can change my second nam to Longworth”I said and left with the guards.


    The students I walked past stopped to look at me and even took pictures of me.


    I got to the ss and the guards stayed behind at the door while I entered.


    The teacher was in already.


    He paused when he saw me and you bowed to him.


    The students gasped as I went to my seat.


    I sat down and all eyes were still on me..


    Geez..


    I brought out my note and pen..


    I nced at it the empty seat beside me.

    I entered one of the toilets in the bathroom before picking his call up.


    “Hey!, I let you off the hook thest time because you said you will figure out another n, so, this your n better be good, okay?!”he shouted.


    I removed the phone from my ears and returned it back after some seconds.


    “I can still have you killed, yunno”he added.


    “Don’t worry. This will surely works and there’s no way she will miss It this time”I replied.


    “Just tell me your goddamn n,!”he shouted again.
