Chapter 27
Rafael and his friends are on the ne when Gabriel informed them that John will be having his flight
at Storm Airlines making it easier for them. They exin the situation to Tyron and he is willing to help.
The moment they meet him, they already clicked. With Tyron’s help, the flight was dyed and they
finally captured John.
It took them two days to make John talk, and they manage to capture one of the biggest drug syndicate
in the country.
They are currently at his house to rest. Rafael leave them in the living room and went to his room, he
opened the safe and check the ne he got from Amber. He also went to the room Amber is
upying, without hesitation he open Amber’s box and sorted everything in there—from the clothes,
jewelries and albums. He go through the album and saw pictures of Amber from when she was young
until when she turns into a fine youngdy. He also saw Lohan and his parents in the album.
“We really need to know each other, my wife.” Rafael murmured when his phone rang. He checked it
and it was Julian, an agent that they assigned to pose as gardener to work in her mother’s garden.
“Sir, someone passed through the vige security as he disguised his self as you.” Julian informed
making him rmed.
“How is my wife?” Rafael asked.
“She is fine, Sir. She is with Copper in the living room.” Julian answered. “It is good thing that Copper

and Draco is with her when the man attacked her. I saw from the CCTV that they both protected her but
Draco was shot and is now in the clinic.” He informed. “I am sorry, Sir. I was at the clinic when that
happened because a stray dog bit me.”
Suddenly fear and worry engulf his whole body. He silently prayed that his wife and their baby will be
fine.
“I will go there now.” He said. “Protect my wife!”
“Copy, sir!” Julian answered before he cuts off the line.
Rafael immediately grabbed the empty jewelry box in Amber’s box and ced the heirloom there. He
immediately went to his friends.
“Lohan, I need to borrow your helicopter now.” Rafael told Lohan who is lying on the carpeted floor.
“What for?” Lohan asked.
“My wife in danger!” He clenched his fists. “It seems that they are working now.”
“Damn!” Gabriel cursed and immediately stood up. “What are those jerks doing?” he asked, pertaining
to his agents.
“It seems that they put on a man-made mask to enter. I am not sure if I was the only one that they
copied.” Rafael said.
“Let’s go then.” Lohan said.

“Sir, you cannot go in.” The subdivision’s security firmly said.
“What the hell!” Rafael cursed. “My wife needs me right now!”
“Damn you, Rafa!” Lohan cursed catching his breath. Behind him are their friends. “How could you run
so fast?”
“Hey, Gab! I need you here!” Rafael called for his friend. “They will not let us in!” he informed.
“What is happening here?” Another security guard approached them. “H…how?” He was shocked
when he saw them. “I didn’t notice that you going out, Sir Rafael.”
“Fuck!” Rafael cursed. “Listen, the ones insides are impostors! My wife is in danger!” He insisted, but
the guards looked at each other.
“Agents are already inside.” Gabriel informed but that didn’t make him calm. “I will talk to the secu—”
“Go on, Rafa!” Lohan shouted and they were shocked that the three guards are on the floor,
unconscious. There are also other guards who are approaching them.
“Get in, Rafa!” Gabriel shouted and he immediately get into Gabriel’s car.
Gabriel immediately started the engine and drives through the open gate; he is puzzled at first on how
the gate was opened but then he saw Phil in the control room.
They are near his parent’s house and they saw agents nning.
“Sir Gabriel!” One agent greeted when he saw them. “We surrounded the area.”
“Do you know what is happening inside?” Rafael asked.
“They…they are pointing their guns to your wife, sir.” The agent answered hesitantly. “We already throw
a listening device inside and they won’t hurt your wife for now, as they are still asking her about the
heirloom.” The agent added. “As of now, they are trying to call your parents.”
“Do they have apany?” Gabriel asked.
“They do, but Julian already took care of it, but he attained three shots and is now in the clinic. We also
saw a maid with shots and was taken to the clinic.”
“Sir, Miss Amber is walking towards the garden.” Another agent informed them while listening to the
earpiece, then after a while he give a signal and agents started to go in. They heard several gunshots.
Rafael is worried sick and was about to go in but Gabriel didn’t let him.
“How is everything here?” Phil asked catching his breath together with Lohan and Tyron.
“All clear, Sir!” The agent shouted as he walks out the door. Their attention was focused on the men
that are injured that the agents are holding. “We got these masks from them.” The agent said and
showed them a mask giving goosebumps to their body.
“So close…” Shin Lim told him when he saw him. “I should’ve killed that woman!” He grinned making
Rafael lose his temper and smack the man with all his might.
“I will kill you myself if you did that.” He clenched his teeth. “I will make sure that you will rot in hell!” He
warned and went inside the house. Copper wags his tail as soon as he saw him.
“Thank you for protecting, Amber.” He said as he pets him. They heard a faint voiceing from the
garden calling Copper.
He went out and relief was all over him when he saw his wife standing in front of him, unharmed.
“Amber!” He called out to the woman who is standing in front of him with puzzled face. He saw how
Amber slightly pinched herself. She didn’t say anything and just stood there looking at him. He also
noticed that her tears keep on falling.
Rafael didn’t approach his wife and hug her tight. “I am d that you’re safe, hon.” He said and tears
started falling down from his eyes. It is at that very moment that he felt relieved and all. Amber on the
other hand, hugged him tight and keeps on saying his name in between her sobs.
“I love you, Amber.” Rafael said and kissed her lips. “I love you…”
