Hester was shocked to learn that Adrien was the CEO of Corestar Group. How could such a young
person be the owner of the old enterprise in Reburg?! However, Adrien agreed to verify his identity.
Hester immediately activated the backend verification mode.
A little whileter, the internal line of the general manager’s office of Corestar Group rang
“Hello, this is the General Manager’s office. I’m the assistant, Celia!”
“Hi, I’m Hester West, president of Treasury Bank in Reburg. I’m calling to verify the identity of a person
who ims to be the general manager or shareholder of Corestar Group,”
“Who are you referring to?”
The customer’s name is Adrien Higgins.”
“What? Mr. Higgins?!”
“Yes, can you tell me what position he holds in yourpany?”
“He is our boss! Make sure you receive him properly! He holds a 79% stake in thepany!!!”
Hester was shocked to hear the answer! As a person who had been engaged in the financial circle for
many years, she wa clear about what 79% of shares stood for!
Hanging up the phone, Hester hastilypleted the transaction and personally handed Adrien his
newly opened card.
“Mr. Higgins, I’m sorry I didn’t know it was you! Please forgive me for any inconvenience caused.
Would you like to take a look at our high–yield financial products?”
“Maybe another time. I need to get changed and pick up my car.” Judging from Hester’s attitude. Adrien
realized that she must have learned about his identity from Corestar Group.
“Okay, Mr. Higgins. Can I add you on WhatsApp? You can contact me anytime if you have any
questions about finance. investment, or loans!”
“Sure, you can!”
Hester watched as Adrien left the bank, marveling at how someone so young could already be in
charge of an old local enterprise worth billions in market value.
Afterpleting his business at the bank. Adrien received a call from the 45 dealership.
“Hello, sir. Your Porsche 918 has been repaired and is ready for pickup anytime!”
“Great, I’ll be there right away!”
When he arrived at the dealership, the receptionist was shocked at his appearance.
“Sir, what happened to you today? Why are you dressed like that?” the receptionist asked, pointing at
Adrien’s clothes while other customers looked over with curious eyes.
“Oh, uh I just finished filming a TV show and didn’t have time to change my clothes, I came here
directly after answering your call” Adnen exined calmly.
I see. Here is your car key, sir. Let me take you to have a look at your car. There are only two of them
in Reburg, and the other one as a lower end gray version Yours is the top–of–the–line model!” the
receptionist said in atement.
“So this is Porsche 918, Adrien said, realizing for the first time that he had won a luxury car worth
millions of dors from the system WedTêxt ? N?velDrama.Org.
“Sir, don’t you know what type of car you bought? Didn’t anyone exin it to you when you purchased
it?”
“Well, I just thought it looked nice and bought it on a whim. I didn’t ask too many questions. I was busy
that day, so I just left. after paying!”
“I see.”
As he approached his car, Adrien saw that it was almost brand new, without any scratches or signs of
wear and tear.
“My baby!!” eximed Adrien as he kissed his car and pressed the key to unlock it.
“I’m just driving off now! Thank you!”
The receptionist looked at Adrien’s car fading away, thinking who the hell the person was. She couldn’t
remember such a star in showbiz at all!
As Adrien pulled his car into the Reburg Center Mall, he saw two people doing a live stream. It seemed
that they werementing on the spending habits and car ownership levels of wealthy people in the
City.
They were both surprised when they saw Adrien’s Porsche 918, and the viewers who were watching
the live stream were also shocked.
“Oh my goodness! This guy has a red Porsche 918! I must be dreaming!!!”
“You’re not dreaming! There are only two of them in the whole city. The other one belongs to the father
of my cousin’s boyfriend, who is a big boss. This one was heard to be bought by an unknown rich guy!”
“Can you move closer to show us a clearer view?” one viewer asked.
Even the hosts, Big Brain and Little Muddle, were stunned to see the car.
When Adrien got out of his car, the live stream exploded withments!
“Damn! Are rich people so low–key? Look at his clothes! There is a hole under his arm!” one viewer
commented.
“And his hat is full of dirt!”
“This is vintage! The more worn out they are, the more expensive they be! In foreign countries,
the most expensive jeans are yellow–gray after being worn out, and they can stand up on their own,”
another viewer exined.
“Oh, please! It’s disgusting! Can’t imagine his socks…”
“I’m having my afternoon tea! Can you talk about something else?!”
Thousands ofizens in the live stream started to judge Adrien’s outfit!
At the moment, Big Brain approached Adrien with his phone.
“Excuse me, can I interview you?”
“Huh?” Adrien was startled by the sudden approach but then noticed himself on the phone screen.
He immediately became cold–faced because he hated being interviewed and watched by unknown,
unprofessional tforms with nonsensical hosts who disrupted the thinking of young people.
“Sorry, I’m not avable,” Adrien said before walking away.
The viewers in the live stream were outraged by his attitude.
“He’s so arrogant! Who does he think he is?”
“If you have a 918, you can also be as arrogant as him!”
“Maybe he’s just a driver!”
“I don’t think so! Would you let your driver wear such dirty clothes and drive your luxury car?”
“He looks more like a repairman to me!”

The viewers suggested that Big Brain and Little Muddle follow Adrien to see what he was doing at such
a high–end shopping mall.
Unaware of the people following him. Adrien walked into the Gi store with his phone in hand.
“Sir, may I help you?”
“I want to buy some clothes and change out of what I’m wearing now. These are for a TV show, Adrien
exined, using the same excuse he used at the dealership.
