It seemed that Lambert had doubts and curiosity about Eric''s words.
Then Eric exined, "She was interviewed by me. At that time, she was not suitable for the sales

As expected, the dinnersted till evening. After the dinner, many people drank too much and had to
ask the driver to drive them home. Lambert drank a lot of wine and was not drunk. It was still early, only
7 o''clock evening. So Lambert nned to go back to thepany to deal with something before going
home.
When Lambert arrived at thepany building and took the elevator upstairs, he found that the
company was already dark, only the lights of the human resources department were still on.
Lambert walked to the general manager''s office and passed by the human resources department.
When he was wondering if it was Nicole who worked overtime at thiste hour, he saw Nicole go out
with her bag and intend to lock the door. Obviously, she was also going back.
Standing in the darkness, Lambert looked at Nicole as if she didn''t notice anyone was there, she took
out the key from her bag and locked the door. After locking the door, she tried to push it two times to
make sure it waspletely locked. Then she put the key back into her bag, took out her phone and
left while checking the time.
Lambert thought that how long it would take Nicole to find him. He was staring at her and specting.
After looking at her phone, Nicole suddenly raised her head and found him standing in the dark
corridor. She was shocked, obviously.
It took Nicole quite a while to realize that it was Lambert who was staring at her in the dark not far
away. Nicole didn''t know why Lambert looked like this, but he just stared at others in the darkness
silently and his eyes were so sharp and persistent. It was really terrible.
Nicole had an intuition that something was wrong with Lambert. She guessed that he must have drunk
a little and his expression was abnormal.
Nicole didn''t want to greet Lambert. Because of personal grievances, she didn''t want to have any
conflict with him alone, so she bowed her head silently and walked past him.
However, to her surprise, Nicole was pushed to the wall by Lambert, who held her shoulders with one
hand and pressed her against the wall with the other. She was trapped in a small circle,pletely
blocking her way.
Nicole eximed, looking up and smelling the smell of alcohol in Lambert''s nose, she said nervously,
"What are you doing?" Nicole felt her voice trembling and her hands clinging to the wall.
Lambert stared at Nicole for a while, but unexpectedly he smiled and asked, "Do you like Eric?"
Nicole felt that his tone was a little frivolous and contemptuous. She really couldn''t figure out his
emotions, and this kind of Lambert made her panic and resist.
