Chapter 26 The Pain


    Emily went back to the apartment to take a shower, and when she got back to the house of the Morris


    family, it was almost dawn.


    Maisie Morris was sitting in a heavy wooden chair in front of the gate, with Dorothy and Louisa standing


    on each side, like two statues.


    The atmosphere was weird. She walked over and wanted to speak. But before she could talk she was


    pped on the face. It was fiercely painful.


    "You dare toe back?" Maisie was so angry that her breathe was disordered. Her good wish on this


    girl was in vein.


    "Grandmother…"


    "Don''t call me grandma. I do not have such a shameless granddaughter. Your mother was so good


    when she was young. Look at you now...cough cough..."


    Maisie was aged and her health was not as good as before. After a few words, she had to stop to catch

    She walked in and looked around the kitchen indifferently. The furnishings and decorations were pretty


    good, which indicated this vicious woman had a bit of taste as a hostess of a rich family.
