Those who were busy with their work were astonished by this crisp sound in the quiet waiting room.

cheek. Sabrina covered her face with her hands and turned her head in shock, “Emily Morris, what
gives you the right to hit me?!”
Seeing this, someone questioned, “How can you hit thedy!"
Emily bluntly said, “Because of your shamelessness and sloppy behavior; because you slept with my
boyfriend when you call yourself my best friend!”
Emily wasn’t trying to condemn Sabrina’s fault in public or vent her anger. She just felt that she wasted
her sincerity on someone unworthy.
Hearing this, those around them looked at each other, and no one came out to speak for Sabrina
anymore.
Sabrina didn’t expect Emily to be so straightforward and ruthless. She raised her hand in anger to hit
Emily back. Emily took two steps back to avoid it, but her left cheek was still scratched in bloodstains
by Sabrina’s nails.
The girls around them were worried about the conflict might ruin the interview. Someone came out to
drag Sabrina to keep her away from Emily. Sabrina smirked and said, “Hah, what a saint you are! You
are just jealous to see your sister marrying a wealthy man. And you jumped on your brother-inw...”
“This is Dier, not some Sunday market. Please get out if you need a fight.” The door of the waiting room
was opened from the other side and a woman walked in and said to the crowd. It’s Miss Hope Hart, she
was the senior assistant of the President of Dier and was also known as the irondy of the business
world. She was in charge of the interview.
Hope was in a designer suit and on two inches heels, which supported her professional temperament.
She cast a nce at Emily and Sabrina, then announced in m, “Number 4, Liam Smith; Number 5,
Noah Johnson; Number 6, Emily Morris; and Number 7, Oliver Williams, pleasee with me.”
In less than five minutes walking from the waiting room to the interview hall, Hope opened the door for
the four of them and gave way, “Please get in!”
The fourdies walked into the interview hall one by one. Theyout of this hall was unique. The
candidate and the examiner were not precisely in the same room. The examiner could observe the
candidates’ appearance and their behavior from the other side of the room while the candidates could
never meet the examiner.
As soon as the four of them were seated, Hope came out from the other side of the room with a
message. “Miss Morris stays here, and the rest of you may leave”, she said.
Hearing this, the threedies started whispering. Emily was also in shock. It was hard to tell whether it
was a blessing or a curse to have a private interview.
Liam, as one of the threedies being dismissed, was the first one toin, “We haven’t even met
the examiner, how can you drive us away like this?”
Hope nced at her twice without saying a word. Though it couldn''t be more evident from Hope''s eyes:
No more exnation would be needed if the boss already made the decision.
Noah stared at Emily, who was sitting next to her. Obviously, she was not the most outstanding one out
of these candidates in terms of her appearance. Noah asked in confusion, “Ms. Hart, is this a mistake?
Why her?”
“Her background is cleaner than anyone of you! You all hid very well, I must say. You either pulled
some personal strings or are even someone’s mistresses.” A deep male voice came from the
concealed door. The man chuckled by his own words in a pleasant tone, but it was rather daunting to
hear.
What he just said was an astonishment for Emily. She turned to look at these well-shaped great looking
everyone would have thought they had alle from a decent upper-ss family. Who would ever
imagine they had been a mistress?
These threedies walked themselves out of the room to remain theirst decency. In a blink of an
effort, Emily was the only one left in the entire interview hall. She looked at the door curiously. She
would very much like to know the man behind the door.
“Miss Morris, it has been a long while.”
