Chapter 28: You Did Indeed Lose His Favour

Chapter 28: You Did Indeed Lose His Favour

Fleur casually held onto her windbreaker, the hem of her ck skirt swaying as she walked into the

lobby. She walked as if she was a royal, regal and mesmerising. Countless eyesnded on her,

    marveling at her striking beauty.

One of those eyes included Olivier''s, or you could say he had already noticed her the moment she

    entered.

The way his hand held the china teacup made him look like a haughty tycoon.

    "Olivier?"

    He silently looked at Virginie.

"What...What''s on your mind? I called you twice but you didn''t answer me at all." Virginie curiously

turned around, wondering what Olivier was looking at. Her expression changed the moment she saw

    who it was.

    Fleur Leroy was here.

    Olivier was...looking at her?

Fleur dragged a chair over and sat it close to Olivier. She took off her windbreaker, licking her dry lips

as if she was parched. Then she took Olivier''s teacup and drank it all in one gulp.

After that, Fleur blew a kiss at Olivier.

Olivier seemed quiet and still as a sculpture. But if one looked closely, one could see his fingers slightly

    trembling.

"...Miss Leroy," Virginie said lowly. "We are in public, please conduct yourself appropriately."

    Fleur looked at her.

Virginie was very beautiful today, wearing a light-green dress. She had the air of a modest but rich heir,

her makeup just on point, as if she...wereing to meet her sweetheart. If not for Fleur being here,

Virginie would be the most beautiful woman right now.

Unfortunately for Virginie, Fleur was indeed here.

"There''s no rule saying I can''t kiss Master Olivier. Besides, I didn''t actually kiss him." It was just a

    teasing motion.

Virginie felt dissatisfied, partly from Fleur being here but most of iting from the fact that Olivier did

nothing to stop Fleur from getting close. He did not do anything at all to stop her from drinking his water

    nor blow him a kiss.

No woman had ever sat beside him, let alone use his teacup. Not to mention kissing.

"Why do you keep looking at him?" Fleur crossed her arms around her chest, giving a cold stare at

Virginie. "Miss Lopez, if you continue to stare at him, I will really kiss him."

Virginie looked away, fingers turning pale. "I''m here to have dinner with Olivier. What about you?"

    "I am too."

"Do you enjoy interrupting people? Were you raised in such a manner?"

"You think of me too highly. I don''t have any manners." Fleur smiled, a steely gleam in her eyes as if

stating dominance. "Does Miss Lopez feel threatened? Of no longer being favoured by Master Olivier?"

Virginie''s makeup could not hide the shock on her face. Her clear eyes quickly exposed the panic she

    felt.

"Then you felt right: You did indeed lose his favour."

"Fleur Leroy." Virginie felt a heavy, depressing weight in her. "Please watch yourself. I have known

Olivier for ten years. Do you really think it''s that easy to drive a wedge between us?"

"Ten years," Fleur sighed. "My poor Olivier has been treating you kindly in vain for so many years, yet

you still disturb his love life. Could it be that Miss Lopez is the new Madame Bovary? Keeping a man

on one hand while thinking about another?"

"You!" Virginie''s face turned pale. In her 25 years of life, no one had ever spoken to her like this.

Especially in front of Olivier, no woman would dare treat her this way.

As usual, she turned to look at Olivier, seeking his favour. She always liked how he stood up for her.
