Chapter 21: Cecil Had Never Been A Lenient Man
The truth was, Linda didn''t have a choice.
When Leona had run away, she had taken her ID card, her passport, and all other important
documents with her.She nced at Cecil and said calmly, "You''re right."
All of a sudden, the look in Cecil''s eyes sharpened.
"Once Leonaes back, we will get a divorce.That''s the fate you deserve, to be a divorced
woman," he sneered.
Linda could barely swallow the poison in his words.She couldn''t believe that he had brought up this
matter just as a way of punishing her.
After all, there was no reason for him to get a marriage certificate with her.
However, she had no choice but to agree to his demands.
While she was still chewing over his words, Cecil left the dining room.
The next day, Cecil ordered his driver to take him and Linda to the Ye family''s house.
He had prepared arge number of gifts, as if he was really apanying his newly-wed bride to her
home.
Despite the borate show, Linda was well aware that if Leona didn''t show up today, the whole Ye
family would suffer greatly from now on.As she sat in the car, she unconsciously clenched the hem of
her dress with her fingers.
After a few minutes, she turned her head to look at Cecil, who was resting his eyes.
"Mr.Bo, can''t you just wait for her without causing trouble for my family?"
Cecil opened his eyes, revealing the displeasure in them.
He nced at Linda coldly and sneered, "Are you being serious?"
Linda bit her lower lip and tried to gather her courage as she continued, "Maybe she had an
unspeakable reason for doing what she did."
"Maybe she did, and maybe the whole Ye family did too.But I''m the one who was stupid enough to be
fooled by all of you," Cecil spat.
Linda remained silent, digging her nails into her thighs.She didn''t know how to respond.
Even from observing him from a distance, she knew that Cecil had never been a lenient man.
Moreover, after bing the CEO of the Bo Group, he had be more domineering than ever.Now
that he had been tricked into a fake marriage, it was reasonable for him to be so angry.
Although Linda knew that she wouldn''t be able to get Cecil to agree to leave her family alone, she
couldn''t help but try to convince him whenever she got the chance.
After another twenty minutes, the car rolled to a stop outside a vi.Cecil asked the driver to carry all
the gifts he had bought into the vi, and then entered with Linda.
Upon their arrival, Martin rushed to the door and smiled.

Mrs.Ye also walked into the living room and greeted both of them before taking Linda aside.She talked
to her daughter about trivial matters, but the whole time, there was a worried look on her face.
Soon, the four of them sat around the dining table for lunch.

able to swallow their food.
After lunch, they sat in the living room to drink tea and eat some fruits.
