“Reu…. Wake up!”


    Nagising ako sa isang marahan na haplos sa buhok ko.


    “Gising na Papa mo” I immediately stood up and run inside my bedroom to take a bath


    “Waitng…. Tita” I said in a sleepy voice even if I’m inside the bathroom, It’s been a week since na-confine si Papa, ngayon pamang siya nagising.


    Nag-hmosmang ako at mabilis na inipit ang buhok ko paitaas, humahaba na ito na dating hanggang balikatmang.


    “Izha, kagabi pa nagising ang Papa mo but nang-sinabi namin na kagabi kang umuwi, he suggested na…. you should rest” ani Tita Zheria nang lumabas ako ng banyo.


    She’s right. Isang linggo ako’ng nanirahan sa hospital kaba-bantay kay Papa, kagabimang ako umuwi ng maka-idlip ako doon at nagising namang sa kotse ni Zhack.


    “H-hindi Tita, I can manage pa naman po” I showed her my smile while fixing my jacket and tying thece of my shoes to assured na I’m okay but she just reply with a nod.


    “Si…. Adam, he’s there when your Dad awakened” natigil ako sa pag-sisintas dahil sa sinabi niya.


    “Make him leave.” I smiled bitterly, putangina niya.


    “Reu, kausapin mo na siya….” Tita sighed while slightly fixing my bed.


    “For what? Mas marami ako’ng importanteng gagawin kaysa kausapin siya” When I finally tied my shoeces, kinuha ko ang susi ng motor ko sa ibabaw ngmesita bago sinenyasan si Tita na sumunod “Sabay ka na sa’ken, Tita?” Umilingmang siya at itinuro ang big bike sa tabi. She has her own bike, wow.


    I nod at her before wearing my helmet and drove after her.


    “Pa!” Tears automatically fall down in my cheeks when I saw him halfying in his bed while eating an apple and talking to Zhackie.


    “A-anak…” His eyes watered and when I hug him “N-n-nasasakal a-ako” mabilis akong lumayo sa kanya at kinakabahang tinignan ang kabuuhan niya kung may natamaan ako ngunit mukha’ng w naman dahil ngumiti siya sa’ken.


    “Tito, ito na ho y–” My body stiffened when I heard his voice, kahit siya ay mukhang nagt din dahil natign siya sa pagsasalita at mukhang may nabitawan pang gamit “I-I’m sorry, I didn’t know na you’re here, I’ll just p-put it t-there and….” he cut his own voice when he noticed that I’m not listening to him “… leave immediately” he whispered.


    “Aalis ka agad? Hindi mo ba sasamahan muna si Reu?” Imbis na matakot sa boses ni Papa ay parang nakaramdam pa ako ng inis, tangina naman kase oh!


    “Ah, Papa…. Kase W–” I was cut off by a sudden beep on my phone.

    Kumunot ang noo ko at napa-lingon kay Zhack na naka-tuwid ng upo habang naka-krus ang mga braso, kunot ang noo, at naka-titigmang kay Papa.


    “Ah…. may pag-uusapanng kami, Pa..” Mabilis akong tumayo at sinenyasan si Adam na sumunod sa ‘kin.


    “W-whe—”


    “Rooftop” I cut him off before walking straight without even ncing at him.


    Nang marating namin ang rooftop ay saktong-sakto dahil wng katao-tao dito.


    “Reuzekhia, L-love…” He tried to get my attention by touching my hands but before he can gap our distance, I p him.


    ” Kapal ng mukha mo e no?” Mariin kong salita at ramdam ko ang sunod-sunod na pag-patak ng mga luha sa aking pisngi “How dare you show your self in front of me! After what you’ve done?!” I spat, he didn’t talk, he’s just standing infront of me while wiping his face.


    “Ang kapal ng mukha mo, Adam!” I started sobbing more when I heard him sob too “I t-trusted y-you eh, I let you go with that woman k-kase a-m k-kong a-ako lng e” My heart tightened at ramdam ko din ang pang hihina ng aking mga tuhod kaya napakapit ako sa pasimano at doon kumuha ngkas.


    “Y-you….” A moment of silence enveloped us but he cut it off when he started mumbling something “Y-you didn’t…” Hindi niya matapos tapos ang sasabihin dahil sa kanyang pag-iyak.


    “W-what?” I calmly asked but tears are still falling down.


    “Y-you didn’t even let me exin the d-mn whole thing!” He shouted making me blink and stilled in ce “Y-yes I cheated! You can call that cheating! But Why don’t you let me exin!? Go on, huwag mo paniwan! J-just let me exin!” He faced me with scattered tears in his face “…. please?”


    I looked at him with disbelief, how can he say a thing like that!?


    “I didn’t? How about the month chances they gave to you? Kaya ba hapit na hapit kang makipag-date sa’kin?! ha?!” I pushed him but my hands are too weak, he held my wrist before pulling me into a hug


    “Let’s fix this, Love…. please? Hmm?” He said between his sobs, I can hear the pain and longing making me cried harder, I tried to push him again and this time, napyo na siya sa’ken.


    “N-no….. L-lets break up” I saa mixed emotions crossed his eyes, pain, hatred, and fear, his mouth open and tried to talk but it just made him cried harder. Seeing him in pain made my heart breaks, I want to hug him, I want to kiss him, but the things he admitted to me keep shing back in to my mind.


    No, Reuzekhia, Once is enough, okay?

    My heart sank.


    Sana inisip niya ‘yan bago magpakasarap.


    “L-love, ‘wag ha?” He tried to held my hand but I step back ward to distance myself, he gave me a sad smile ” Wag naman ganito, Reuzekhia!” He raised his voice but I can still heard the pain, and desperate in his voice.


    “N-no, ayoko na, Adam” I said before leaving him.
