Chapter 13 Come Abroad with Me

Chapter 13 Come Abroad with Me

Shortly after the doctor left the room, Jensen immediately said, "Hattie,e abroad with me; which

country do you like? We’ll go visit there and you can get treatment."

Hattie shook her head and withdrew her hand from Jensen’s sp.

"I don''t want to go abroad with you; don''t worry about me. I want to return to the countryside..."

She could still vividly remember Greyson''s warning, and she didn’t want to burden Jensen.

"In your current condition, how would you even get back to the countryside? If you can’t get treatment

in time, you might end up dead!" Jensen nervously said.

Hattie lowered her eyes, but her pale white face looked indifferent, "So what... Jensen, whether I live or

die has nothing to do with you. I don''t like you, leave me alone."

Jensen continued to hold Hattie’s hand and said, “I know you don’t like me, but it’s enough that I like

you. If you don’t want to go abroad, then we won’t go; I’ll bring a doctor from abroad back to treat

    you..."

"No need!" Hattie raised her voice, and her expression soured, "I told you, Jensen, leave me alone!

Have you no shame? Why do you continue to harass me?"

She didn’t want to get the innocent Jensen involved.

Greyson was a devious man. If he wanted to raise a hand against Jensen, then Jensen and his entire

"Hattie, you must be tired; get some rest first." Jensen withdrew his hand with sorrow, then he stood up

and said, "You rest first, I’lle visit you againter."

After he finished speaking, Jensen left the hospital room.

Hattied watched his back as he left, a bitter feeling lingered in her heart.

She was going to die soon, so she mustn’t have feelings for him...

Right now, she didn’t want to burden anyone.

Even now, Jensen took care of her as he always did; when Hattie’s fever left, he brought her back to

his vi to personally take better care of her.

But the more he behaved like this, the more Hattie must be determined to leave.

Once she had recovered enough to walk, she would quietly pack her bags and escape into the night.

Deep in the night, the vi was dead silent.

Hattie packed the few belongings she had and quietly left the room.

“I’m aware that thepany has huge troubles right now… Just sell it off.” It was Jensen’s voice, filled

with tones of exhaustion and helplessness. “We can’t beat Greyson, might as well cut losses now

before we go bankrupt. I want to take Hattie abroad… I’m still young and I’m not afraid, I can always

start over abroad, it’s nothing much.”

Hattie froze in ce when she heard what he said.

It’s only been a few days; was Jensen’spany already in such trouble that it must be sold off?

It appeared that she already brought trouble to Jensen.

Would there still be time to save thepany if she left now?

“That’s all for now…” Jensen hung up the phone.

Hattie couldn’t bear to hear more; she quickly ran down the stairs and snuck out of the vi.

She can’t stay with Jensen, or she would only cause him grief.

Thinking about all the trouble she’s caused him during this period of time, Hattie felt more and more

    guilty.

Was it toote if she went to beg Greyson for mercy now?

Thinking about her body getting weaker and weaker, Hattie grit her teeth and headed in the direction of

    Greyson’s vi.

Since she was going to die, she couldn’t bring Jensen down with her and ruin his life.

If it came down to it, she would just have to endure Greyson’s torture; she could take it…

No matter, it would be thest time she would see Greyson.

After this meeting, she would go and find a peaceful, quiet ce to stay, passing away alone.

Hattie hailed a taxi and arrived at the entrance of Greyson’s vi.

The guard at the door recognized Hattie. Back in the days, when she and Greyson were still together,

    they even called her madam.

Hattie didn’t think that she would get stopped at the entrance.

“I’m sorry, Miss Moss, but the master and madam has orders that, if we ever see you, we must not let

    you into the vi.”

Madam? The security guard just now said master and madam; it must be Rowan…

Just as Hattie was about to inquire further, she caught a nce of Greyson.

His arm was around Rowan’s waist; they appeared talked andughed in a yful manner.
