A feeling of angst filled me, I wanted to push him away, I wanted to run and flee from his presence, I wanted to stay as far from him as possible, I couldn’t help but feel helpless, I was all alone in here, He is in charge and I’m nothing but his puppet, I can’t possibly give up now, I have to find a way to leave this hell hole, I can’t spend one more minute in here, I can’t breathe when he’s near, I hate him for what he did to me, I utterly despise him for changing my life for the worse.


    I watched him walk away and leave the room and in a few minutes, some maids stepped in to clear the table and dishes we had just used. After the maids left I saw J walking in with an orange juice


    “Who is this for?” I asked, staring sharply at J, I don’t need anything in this house, I just need to leave, I don’t want to stay here any longer, I am being offered juice in a ce where I am being held captive.


    “Ma’am this is for you” Janeet held the ss cup nervously, She probably knew I was already worked up after my breakfast with Carson.


    “I don’t want it, take it back,” I said sternly while sitting on the bed.


    “Okay ma’am, Is there anything else I can do for you?” J asked holding the cup close to her chest, What else will I need except  to leave this ce, That was my greatest desire,


    “No, you can leave” This time I turned my back to face her, I didn’t want to see anyone talk more than to speak to anyone, Her constant disturbance was adding fuel to the already existing frustration I was being faced with. Before she closed the door I got an idea.


    “J, I do need something” The only thing that came to my mind was to seek an escape route. I needed to explore the mansion and be familiar with the environment. The only issue was to get Carson to agree to my request.


    “Whatever it is ma’am I’m at your service” J replied respectfully as she always does. I took a deep breath and arranged my words


    “I need to get familiar with the mansion, I want to explore the mansion grounds” I waited for a reaction and she looked shocked at first then confused before she spoke up


    “I will be back ma’am, I need to ask-” J tried exining but I needed to be smart, if she should ask then it would cause a big stir and my request would be denied. I had to y safe and fast.


    “I just spoke to Carson, He said I can do whatever I want,” I said confidently, I had to try something I couldn’t keep staying in the room and crying all day, I had to implement my n


    “Okay ma’am, Whatever you wish,” J said with a faint smile on her lips,


    “Fine” I tried to sound subtle but in my head, I was doing cartwheels because of how happy that my n was falling into ce,  But I would have to be observant if I wanted to leave this ce.


    J and I finally stepped out of the room, I told her we needed to be quick and return. We quickly made our way to one of the grand halls, the vastness of the hall was shocking, The paintings gave a rich touch to the hall, Every single corner had a beautiful artwork. It made me wonder why there were so many artworks, maybe he was a lover of art.


    “Wow” the word slipped out of my mouth, I wouldn’t me myself, this was thergest building I’d ever seen


    “What happened Ma’am? Perhaps I can get you something?” J asked, thank goodness she didn’t hear what I said, maybe I wasn’t audible enough


    “No I am fine,” I said while walking slowly in the hallway, The thought came to my head that I needed to look for a ce with an opening, somewhere I could use to escape. The garden, a big mansion like this will surely have a garden that I am sure of,


    “Take me to the garden,” I said confidently


    “Which one ma’am” J asked respectfully, which one? how am I supposed to answer that?


    “How many are there?” I asked curiously


    “Two downstairs and one at the root top at the left wing of the mansion” J answered, three gardens, surely the first time I’d hear such, Either way, I was certain I wasn’t going to see the one upstairs I needed something on the ground floor, so it will be easier for me to n my escape now I had to look for a garden, I will be able to analyze well, A garden best for my scheme.


    “Take me to the garden on the ground floor and closer to the gate,” I asked J, signaling her to lead the way


    “Okay ma’am,”  J said with a look of confusion on her face


    We made our way downstairs, It was a long way down but we took it one step at a time, when we finally reached downstairs I was moved to ask


    “Why would he keep me on the top floor?” He is trying to punish me that’s for sure” I said while trying to catch my breath, J had a smile on her lips, she wanted tough and it was obvious

    She led the way to the garden and I was amazed by how beautiful it was, it was a sight to behold, it had a variety of flowers, The flower bed was mixed perfectly, and I could sit there for hours taking in its beauty, The gentle breeze that passed over the flowers was rxing, As I was admiring the beauty before me I spotted a lowered fence, just right behind the garden shed, Just before I could properly analyze my discovery, I heard a loud voice, “What are you doing here?”
