CHAPTER 42


    Like what Atif was nning he will visit Haya this evening so after he drove his grandfather home after


    their business trip he made an excuse to his grandfather that he will see some friends this evening to


    talk about business matters and will probably spend a few hours in a pub just to rx even just for a


    while.


    Without any questions his grandfather Haris allowed him to go.


    After 20 minutes driving, Atif arrived at Haya''s ce.


    He knocked on the door.


    After a few minutes Haya opened the door.


    Haya was too surprised when she saw Atif standing outside the door of her room.


    "Good evening, Amaya." Atif greeted her with a wide smile on his face.


    "What are you doing here?" Haya asked and frowned.


    "Would you mind if Ie in?" Atif said instead of answering Haya''s question.


    “Okay. Get inside and take your seat." Haya said.


    When Atif gets inside the room he sees Haya is cooking dinner.


    "Would you mind if I will finish cooking my dinner first. My stomach is rumbling. I''m too hungry." Haya


    said.


    "It’s okay. No worries." Atif answered.


    Then he takes a seat on the stool near the door while Haya goes back to cooking the dinner.


    Atif took his phone from his pocket and read some file that was saved on his phone while waiting for


    Haya to finish cooking. Again its business rted documents.


    Because Atif is too afraid that Haya will avoid him or leave again he decided to pretend that he doesn''t


    know that she is Haya or Aliyah.


    He just called by the name that she was using when she arrived in Bosnia. The name Amaya.


    He had no n to tell her that he already knew her secret that she is her long lost friend Haya and a


    social media friend Aliyah at present.


    He will just pretend that he wants to be her friend so he visits her again.


    Atif sees on Haya''s face that she got too surprised when he saw him. Maybe because he never told her


    yesterday that he will be around here this evening. Instead he made an excuse that he will be busy so


    he doesn''t know if he can go back here again. He does that because he senses that she will serve him


    drinks or food that he doesn''t like whenever hees around. So to avoid that situation he decided to


    stop seeing her. But that was yesterday when he didn''t know that she was Haya. Now she understands


    how she knew that he doesn''t like tea. He knew Haya just wanted to annoy him so that he would not go


    back to her ce.


    Atif notices the change in Haya''s attitude as if she doesn''t care about him now unlike when he was a


    little boy.


    Atif misses her smile and care way back when before when they were young.


    Atif wonders if Haya doesn''t really care about him at present or she doesn''t want to show it because


    she doesn''t want anybody to know her secret that she is Haya.


    After a few minutes Haya is finished cooking the dinner.


    Atif notices that Haya is preparing the food on the table. She put two tes, and two sets of utensils on


    the table.


    "Meaning she will invite me to eat dinner here." Atif thought while watching what Aliyah is doing.


    Atif didn''t notice that he is staring at Haya because he is thinking what she will do this time to annoy


    him. But Atif promised to himself that he will not give up. He will still visit Haya and make friends with


    her. It doesn''t matter to him now if she will always do some things that make him annoyed. He always


    waited and wished that she would see Haya again. Now that it happened he will treasure every


    moment that they will be together.


    But aside from that Atif is looking at Haya because he is confused about what he felt about Haya.


    He considers Haya as a friend but he slowly falls in love with her other identity, Aliyah.

    Atif admits that her feeling for Haya as Aliyah is much stronger. He hopes that at present they can be


    more than just friends.


    Atif is hoping that Haya will give him a chance to be her fiancé.


    Atif got too surprised when he heard Haya talk and asked him. He nearly falls on the stool where he is


    sitting. He felt a little bit embarrassed because of that.


    “Why are you staring at me?!" Haya asked.


    Atif cleared his throat andposed himself before he answered the question of Haya.


    “Nothing to worry about, I ''m just watching you prepare the dinner. Just wondering if you''re going to


    invite me to eat dinner here because you put two dishes on the table." Atif exined.


    Haya folded her arms on her chest and frowned and looked directly to Atif’s eyes.


    Because of that Atif felt shy so he lowered his head and pretended that he was checking some


    messages on his phone to find an excuse.


    He can''t look directly into Haya''s eyes.


    Atif doesn''t know why he felt shy in front of Haya.


    Haya is the only woman who made him lose his self-confidence.


    If he is in front of another woman he didn''t feel and behave like this because he knew that they can''t


    resist him because Atif knew how good looking he is.


    But Haya is different. As if she doesn''t even notice how good looking he is.


    Atif continues to pretend that he is really reading some messages on his phone. He just looked up


    when Haya snatched his phone and put it inside her pocket.


    Atif can do nothing. He can''t get his phone from Haya.


    Atif didn''t expect that Haya would do that.


    Atif didn''t expect that Haya grew up like this with some rudeness in her attitude. She is far from Haya


    that he knew when he was a child.


    Atif was speechless because of Haya''s action.


    He just smiled a little bit and shrugged his shoulders then crossed his arms on his chest.


    Haya sits on the chair beside the small dining table after snatching the phone from Atif. She started


    getting some food and put it on her te.


    Then before she begins to eat she invites Atif to eat dinner.


    “Come on. Let’s eat dinner." Haya said.


    "Alright." Atif said then he stood.


    Hees near the dining table and sits on the opposite chair in front of Haya.


    As soon as Atif sits, Haya gets some food and puts it on Atifs te.


    Again Atif could do nothing when Haya put some foods on his te that he doesn''t want to eat. He will


    just force himself to eat the food even if he doesn''t like the taste.


    Atif admits that Haya''s behavior this time tests his patience but he can take it. He will take all the


    rudeness that she has to give just to have a chance to be with her.
