When Mia woke up again, the room was quiet and there was no one.
She saw a shiny fruit knife on the table, emitting a cold beam of light.
As if by magical power, she slipped out of the bed and took the knife.
Her face was still pale, but her head wasn’t dizzy anymore, and the fever seemed to be gone.
Looked like the middle-aged woman gave her some meds for cold.
Mia went back to her bed and sat there quietly, without moving.
