Chapter 6 Big Issue


    When the door of Kendra''s room opened, Kendra was so suprised, Larry suddenly showed up and


    kissed her passionately and Larry silently closed the door.


    "I think you better change your teacher today."Kendra said while continously kissing Larry.


    "Ah..ha.."Larry responded.


    Larry touched Kendra''s breast as he opened the button of Kendra''s shirt buttons slowly. Larry kissed


    her lips hardly down to her neck then to her breast. Kendra was moaning silently then she suddenly


    backed to her conscious mind.


    She put Larry''s hands off her immediately.


    "What''s wrong Kendra?" Larry asked.


    "I can''t do this. This is not right Larry. We are inside of my ss room. I am working now. You better go


    out and change your ss." Kendra demanded.


    "Okay,see you after your ss. I will be waiting you outside. We are going home together." Larry


    smiled.


    sses were ended. While Kendra was walking in the lobby of the center. Students were all looking at


    her differently and talking about her. Days went by, students knew about Kendra and Larry rtionship.


    The next day, Kendra was standing in front of the bulletin board staring at her ss schedule and


    noticing that she got only two left students. In her ss,


    "Do you have any idea my student what is happening that I only got 2 students left?" Kendra asked her


    student.


    "Teacher, most of the students never like was your rtionship with your own student Larry." Kendra''s


    student exined.


    "What about me and Larry?What is the big deal?" Kendra asked the student.


    "Students dont and to see teacher having a rtionship with student. I like you teacher. For me, you


    are the best teacher I have ever had in the center so I never quit your ss". Kendra''s student said.


    "Thank you my student. I appreciated of what you have said to me so much but it is my personal life.


    You can''t choose to feel whom you wanted to be in rtionship with. I asked Larry to change his ss.


    People dont have rights to judge me. I only followed my heart." Kendra exined to her student.


    "That''s why I really reallly like you teacher. Besides, most of your students attending your ss are all


    men. I guess they are being jealous seeing you having a rtionship with Larry." Kendra''s student


    laughed.


    Both wereughing while having a conversation.


    "Oh, yah. Perhaps." Kendra said.


    "Forget about them teacher."Kendra student said.


    "Anyways, where you off to after this ss?"Kendra asked.


    "Just going home after ss. Why?"Kendra''s student wondered.


    "Let''s go to the canteen after then I am going to buy you an ice cream. It''s my treat."Kendra happily


    said.


    "Oh, Wow..okay okay..Really? I am so excited about the Ice cream. Let''s finish our ss so fast."


    Kendra''s student excitedly said.


    At the canteen, students could not stop looking at Kendra and kept talking about her while she was


    buying an ice cream for both of them.


    "Hey, stop looking at my teacher Kendra like that and never talk about her again. Do you guys


    understand that? It is her personal life! Why do you guys bothered so much?" Kendra''s student angrily


    said.


    " My student ignore them. Here is your ice cream. I bought your favorite one."Kendra smilingly said.


    "Thank you teacher. I guess you better go home now so that you can rest."Kendra''s student said.


    "Okay, my student leave you here now. See you tomorrow."Kendra said.


    "Yes, teacher see you tomorrow. Bye! Rest well." Kendra''s student said.


    Kendra could not expect that her work would be so affected of just having a rtionship with Larry. The


    next morning, Kendra was called at the office. The rumors spreaded so fast as she could not imagine.


    "Kendra, your students left you because of the rtionship you have with your own student Larry." Mr.


    Jong said.


    "Yes, I know about it. Please give me a chance to find ways to bring my students back in my ss. I will


    find ways to have students again just for one more week."Kendra insisted.


    "I am afraid you can''t being your students back again to your ss. You better find anothernguage


    center to work with. This will be yourst day. Mr. Jong said.


    Kendra was shocked as you couldn''t ept what Mr. Jong said.

    "You cant fire me easily without any written exnation. It is my own personal life. How could you fire


    an employee easily without giving him/ her warnings or suspensions? It is not right. We havebor

    "I am the owner of thisnguage center. You cant do anything just to leave this center today. Do your


    hear me?" Mr. Jong raised his voice up to Kendra.


    "Before firing an emoloyee, you have to give him/her a verbal warning, then written exnation then go


    to termination. I cant believe you do this easily withou hearing me out or even just listening to my


    exnation. You are so unreasonable Mr. Jong." Kendra angrily said.


    "Whatever you say! Pack your things and leave this center today."Mr. Jong madly said.


    Kendra mmed the door while getting out of the Mr. Jong'' s office.


    Kendra could not do anything just to leave the center and find another job. She needed a job for her


    college tuition fee as she still prioritized it than anything else. She dreamed to finish her college. She


    never gave up. No one could ever stop her.


    " I should not give up. I have to be strong. There are alot ofnguage center around not only this


    center. My college next semester enrollment ising soon. I have to do something." Kendra said to


    herself.
