The end
After half a year.
The rain was pouring heavily; I was standing between Kenny and Shawn holding a sad expression on
our faces. The weather was sharing my sorrow and my heart was heavier than ever. I was trying to not
cry but as usual, I ended up wetting the ground beneath me. I never thought that I would be this
distressed over my father''s death since I always wished for it.
In thest six months, Kenny and I invested a lot of time for dad, we were spending most of our time
together as if we werepensating for our previous years. We wanted to relive an experience that we
wished for when we were kids. The German doctor could not realize the impossible, it was already
known that dad would die and that is exactly what happened.
After the funeral, Shawn asked all the attendants who were all from my side toe and spend the
night in the mansion. He knew that dad''s death left an empty space in my heart and that I need to fill it
with other people at the moment. I have always lived my life in fear to lose my friends, I felt that I would
suffocate for real if I didn''t have anyone by my side in this shitty life I was living.
Shawn understood that very well, he knew that I was abandoned by my family so I feared being
abandoned by my friends as well. I appreciated his kind gestures even though spending time with my
friends after the funeral did not really make me feel that much better.
I was still feeling that I could have treated my father better ming myself slightly for not taking care of
him earlier. I knew it was not my fault though.
"Are you feeling okay now," Kenny asked.
"Yeah, I am happy that we got to spend hisst days with him,"
"I owe you this, Lily. I don''t think I would have ever done that if it weren''t for you, our dad is really
pitiful,"
"Yeah, he is,"
“What did you whisper dad that day at the hospital, Shawn?” I asked.
“I just told him that he shall be true to his feelings, he would have burdened you more if he disagreed to
be taken care of so he doesn’t need to put an act,”
“Whoa, you are impossible, how did you even know that,”
“I know, I know… I am the best when ites to understanding one’s emotions,”
Shawn dragged me to our room after a while and started changing my clothes.
"I am not a kid, I can do this for myself,"
"But you obviously didn''t, I have asked you to wear something less exposing but you ignored me
twice,"
"This is the only ck outfit I have," I retorted.
"I don''t care,"
He took off my dress leaving me only in underwear, I won''t say I blushed because we surpassed that
edge by now. I was just feeling hot by his gaze, he was only a few inches away from my body as he slid
his ck sweater on my fragile upper body. Before he dressed me the pants, he was groping my butt
sexily.
"Only one day I can resist, two days at most," he said in an annoyed tone leaving my butt alone.
I was fully dressed now and brushing the sexy thoughts that came into my mind uninvited, or it may be
invited. Anyway, I informed him that I will call Jack before getting out and rushed him to leave the room
before we start acting without thinking.
Jack traveled to Italy to work, his half-mom lived there and she was ready to take care of him. Before
he left, he confessed to me onest time, he said that he could not forget about me no matter what he
did and it caused him more psychological damage, his mother offered to get him treated in Italy and he
decided to try and change himself.
He helped the one who locked him up at the hospital just because he wished to do me something
good, he felt bad for all he did to me in the past. He wanted to hug me onest time and I couldn''t
disagree, I patted his back as I encouraged him to change his lifestyle.
"People like us need to be shown care, Jack. This is the one thing we mostly craved for as kids. Do not
waste this chance," I instructed him back then.
Following my advice, he reached Italy 4 months ago and he asked me to promise him to call him every
now and then. Shawn did not like the idea but I convinced him saying that if I disapproved of his
request he would stay here with us so he got scared.
"Hello, Jack?"

"I am fine, how''s your treatment?" I asked.
"It is going well, I know you would be happy if you hear what I am going to say. I think... I think that I fell
in love with my colleague at work,"
"Woah, Jack... That''s formidable," I replied.
"Yeah, I know... I am d that I am approaching full recovery, thanks Lily," he pointed out in a serious
tone.
I hanged up on him and got out to the living room to contemte the scenery in front of me. It might be
a normal silly scene but for me, this scenery is all I wanted in life. ra was ying cards with Tony
and Diana, my brother was drinking tea with John as they watched TV while Jenny was sitting by my
brother''s side. She had a huge crush on him but prohibited me from telling him.
Alicia and Penny were also here, they started dating two weeks ago. I couldn''t look at them long since
they sneaked to the bathroom and I did not want to imagine what that new couple was doing.
They are so cute together honestly...
As for Jessy, I have sent her to study abroad in order to be a fashion designer as she always
dreamt of. She promised me that the first dress she makes would be mine. I hope shees back
soon because I miss her already.
"What are you thinking about?" Shawn asked pulling me out of my absorbed state.
"Just feeling this cool calming vibe," I said.
"I told you this would be your normal life going forward, so you don''t need to get touched every time,"
"I know, I am just enjoying watching over them from afar, it makes me feel very good,"
"I understand babe, you can do whatever you desire," Shawnmented pulling me closer to his side.
I leaned on his shoulders feeling touched by the long journey that got us here today. The best thing that
ever happened to me is that I met Shawn, whom I would remain grateful for my whole life.
I am happy that we sessfully got a happy end.
