    Derick pulled out of the garage in his Lexus and drove down the road with one destination in mind .

    He saw someone wave at the car from afar asking him to pull over .

    He decided to help and immediately pulled over and thedy got in .


    ” Where are you headed ” he asked looking at thedy with a hint of familiarism in his eyes as he started the car and drove off


    ” Twitzers ” she muttered and immediately Derrick remembered her immediately .


    ” You work there right ? ” he asked to confirm his suspicion .


    ” Yeah I do ” Be said feigning ignorance.


    ” Well you were the one who packaged my order that day ” he said and Be paused for a while before smiling .


    ” Yes that’s right . I remember you now .” She said brushing her hair backwards with her hands .


    ” Ok that’s nice , we are here ” he said pulling by twitzers .


    Be bit her lips wishing that twitzers was far away .


    ” Uhmm can I get your number ” Be got the courage to ask .


    ” Ok fine ” Derick said after looking at her for some minutes.


    He brought out the card waving the engagement ring in his hands intentionally while handing her the card.

    ” It’s Derrick ” he muttered gently and she bit her lips before nodding her head.


    ” I will call you ” she said and got down from the car .


    Derrick shook his head as he drove out of the ce .

    Cara paced around the office as she dug her hands into her hair.

    Derick switched off the car as he moved briskly into the house after talking with the gate keeper.


    He pressed the doorbell but there was no sign of Luciening to open the door.


    He pushed the door open and looked around the sitting room before climbing up the stairs .


    “Lucien , Lucien ” he called as he opened his room’s door still no sign of him .


    The gatekeeper had given him an affirmation that he was in a while ago or was he pulling his legs.


    He moved to the other door and he creased his brows as he saw Lucien on the floor with his eyes shut and from the looks of it , he was shivering .


    ” Lucien , Lucien ” he called out .


    ” Derick , De.. rick” he said and sneezed .


    Derick crouched to his side and felt his  temperature


    “Lucien , you are burning up . What’s wrong . What’s going up between two of you ” he asked.


    ” I messed up Derrick , I love her so much but I messed up . She is gone ” he said and tears formed in his eyes again.


    ” Stop being a baby boy . She isn’t gone ..


    He had notpleted the statement when Lucien raised his head to look at her .


    ” And the only way I will tell you where she is.  Get up and go take a shower . You stink. So you can tell me everything ” he said and before he knew what was happening .

    Lucien opened his bathroom door and turned on the shower immediately allowing it to run down his bare body.


    He hopes Derrick wasn’t ying mind games with him or else.

    Lucia turned on the bed lightly as she felt peering eyes at her .


    It was just like the day she had called Lucien her saviour .


    Damn, she was thinking about Lucien again .


    She said cussing herself.


    She hissed as she flipped her eyelids open.


    ” Finally you got out of your thought and decided to wake up .” Thelma said rolling her eyes .


    She had been studying her since she turned and by her expressions , she was lost deeply in thoughts. .


    ” Can I have a ss of water please ” she said and Thelma turned to the side of the bed and pressed out the water from the water dispenser there.


    Lucia bit her lips as she saw that her ns had failed.


    She thought Thelma would leave the room and allow her gather her thoughts properly but ns failed .


    She collected the water from her and gulped it down while looking at Thelma’s waiting gaze with her side view.


    ” Fine , I better start exining” Lucia said as she returned the cup to Thelma who dropped the cup by the bed drawer stand .


    Lucia went ahead to exin everything that happened and Thelma giggled.


    Lucien scoffed and turned her face away making Thelma stop .


    ” Ok I am sorry about that but you guys look cute .” She said and Lucia rolled my eyes.


    ” Cute my ass ” she spat and Thelma fell on the bed as sheughed harder.


    ” If you injure my God daughter because of that jerk, you will have to answer to me ” Lucia said and Thelma chuckled .


    ” Who told you it’s a baby girl ” she said with a pout.


    ” Whatever , that’s what I want the baby to be ” Lucia said giggling .


    ” Well sorry to burst your bubbles.  I think it’s a boy ” Thelma said jokingly


    ” You think , pathetic” Lucia saidughing.


    She felt a little bit relieved now but her heart still ached for Lucien.


    ” So what is your n now ” Thelma said shifting back to the topic on ground .


    “I don’t know for now  Thelma   . But one thing is sure , I don’t want Lucien around me now. ” She said with painced in her voice.
