Lucia finished setting the table and immediately the doorbell rang .
She hoped Lucien would not be mad at her that she cooked.

It was sizzled chicken and fries .

He entered the kitchen after seeing the dinning well arranged and met Lucia doing the dishes .
Huh I thought she said she was working ” Lucien thought.

” Why are you home by this time , or what kind of work did you even get ” Lucien asked immediately ignoring her greetings which hurt Lucia .
” Well I didn’t get an office work because I don’t have any certificates ” Lucia said not wanting to divulge on the job she does .
” Hmm .. I see . So what job did you get ” Lucien asked making Lucia scoff .
Lucien raised an eyebrow as soon as Lucia scoffed .
“Did you just scoff ” he snapped .
” No I didn’t ,” Lucia said with a small smile .
” So what work did you get ” Lucien repeated the question seeing she was ignoring it .
” Well with all due respect, I don’t think that the work I do matters to you . ” Lucia said boldly.
” What do you mean that it doesn’t matter to me ” Lucien asked feeling slightly embarrassed the way she had answered .
” Well what I meant was that , issues like job , family life and other personal stuffs are only told to friends and families and you don’t fall into any ” she said giving him a small smile , patted his shoulder before walking away .

The phone with her buzzed and she brought it out from her back pocket .

A smile broke into her face as she felt fulfilled that she had performed her first work perfectly well .
She opened the door to her room and giggled softly before falling on the bed .

Lucia peeped into the dinning room and found that Lucien had note out for lunch .
She decided to go call him .
Her cooking skills can’t just go to waste like that .

On getting to the door of his room , the boldness she had felt earlier diminished .
She felt herself chickening out .
After some taking in and bringing out of breath , she knocked on the door and Lucien opened up immediately revealing him shirtless with just a short on .
Lucia gulped at the sight of his well structured abs .
” Close up your mouth to avoid allowing something get in ” Lucien said smirking at her .
” I wasn’t opening my mouth ” she snapped even when she knew she lied .
” Are you sure about that ” Lucien saiding fully out of the room making Lucia move back ,
Lucien moved closer and Lucia moved back till her back touched the wall while Lucien ced his two hands by the wall caging her .
” So where you opening your mouth” he asked and Lucia gasped wondering what it would feel like to kiss him .
Lucien traced her eyes and saw it was on his lips and smirked .
” How about I just kiss you ” he said and Lucia’s heart raced
