Lucien continued driving not bothered about her countenance , he didn’t care if she tore up or something .


    She was a lot of headache to him already .


    Derick tried calming Lucia down at the back but she continued sobbing .


    ” I thought we are friends , is there something wrong” Lucia whispered to Derick.


    ” Yes you are but you see Lucien is kind of , he has anger issues . This minute he is happy, the other minute he goes angry. ” Derick said hoping Lucien buys his point .


    The sound of the shutting of the door made Derick know that they had gotten to Lucien’s house .


    How did he drive so far .


    “Wow ” Lucia said on viewing the house .


    ” I don’t think I have been here before , this house just feels new . No connection at all” Lucia said looking at Derick .


    ” I don’t know ” he said and shrugged his shoulders .


    ” Wee back boss , wee sir Derick and miss …” Thelma the housekeeper said waiting for Lucia to answer.


    ” Oh I am Lucia and I am not miss ” Lucia said revealing her perfect dentition .


    ” Do you have something cooked up because I think she would be hungry ” Lucien said sitting down on the couch .


    ” Yes I will just set up the table ” Thelma said and left .

    ” No ” Derick and Lucien shouted .


    “She doesn’t, I employed her newly ” Lucien said ruffling his hair .


    He had totally forgotten that Thelma would be at home and she might tell Lucia she had been hired a year ago .


    ” Ok and you do have a nice couch ” Lucia said using her hands to feel the couch .


    ” Thank you and stop being a talkative ” Lucien said tired already of her .


    ” I am not a talkative ” Lucia snapped .


    ” Yes you are ” Lucien replied back .


    ” I am not


    ” You are .


    ” Food is served ” Thelma said from the dinning .


    ” Oh thank God foring in between these two .” Derick appreciated earning him a re from Lucien.


    They walked to the table and sat down .


    ” Hmm wow so appetizing ,” Lucia said and sniffed the air .


    ” Can I have those chicken wings ” Lucia said looking at Lucien who was close to it .


    ” Serve yourself and stop disturbing me .” Lucien snapped .


    “I will help you Lucia ” Thelma said wondering what was wrong with her boss .


    He has never been so worked up this way .


    Something’s up .


    ” Thank you Miss ” Lucia said and watched Thelma serve her .


    Derick winked at Lucien and earned a re.


    ” This tastes so good . Mind if you could teach me ” Lucia said and Lucien palmed his face .


    ” With all pleasures , I don’t mind  . When ever youe visiting ” Thelma said ignorantly.


    ” I would be staying here for the time being till I get my memories back ” Lucia said and Lucien banged the table .


    “Thats it , you talk to much , Get up ” Lucien said and pulled Lucia up from her side of the table and climbed up the stairs .


    ” Lucien calm down ” Derick shouted from the dinning but Lucien didn’t bother replying.


    His main aim was to talk to Lucia .


    He opened the guest room that was sparkling neat and furnished .


    “Why do you hate me , I thought we are friends ” Lucia said sitting on the bed and sobbing .


    ” I don’t hate you neither do I love you , I just want you to know that I don’t know you , I don’t know your name either . I saw you unconcious by the side of the road and j decided to help you not knowing you won’t realize your self when you wake up .” Lucien exined .


    “You mean you don’t know me at all , I am a stranger , even Derick is a stranger ” Lucia said in tears and Lucien nodded .


    ” I don’t want you to be a cry baby or something . I just want you to brace yourself up and try to get your memories faster so you can go back to your family . ” Lucien said and took a long look at Lucia whose face was soaked with tears and walked out from the room walking into Derick who was standing by the door.


    ” Why would you tell her the truth now ” Derick said .


    ” I had to , she just had to know . So she won’t be clingy around me like I am her friend or something because I don’t know her . “Lucien said and walked away .


    Derick looked at Lucia’s door for sometime before thinking of whether to go in .


    After some thinking , he walked in .


    “Please i want to be alone Derick , please ” Lucia said and Derick sighed before walking out.


    Lucia felt her world crashing , he doesn’t know her , he doesn’t even know her at all.


    Is Lucia even her name


    Who are her family ?


    Lucien teared up the more that she felt her head would soon burst .


    Slowly her eyes fluttered closed and she fell asleep .

    “Quinn why can’t you just postpone this meeting  to the summer , your brother would be so surprised to see you ” Mrs Spencer said .


    ” Mom I really need to see him , I miss him.  He misses me too I know . That house would be so boring for him . He really needs me there ” Quinn said packing up her things.


    “Stop acting like your brother is a kid ” Mrs Spencer said .


    ” I am not . California here Ie ” Quinn said jumping making her mum shake her head at her childishness .
