Lost memories.


    She sneezed and that brought Lucien to his environment back .


    She fluttered her eyelids open to reveal her hazel eyes .


    She stared around and when her eyes fell on the blue eyes looking at her , she muttered


    “MY SAVIOUR ..”she said and looked at Lucien .

    ” I can’t remember anything , believe me , who are you . Are you my friend ” she asked looking at Lucien again .


    ” Yes too bad you can’t remember me , Lucia I am your best friend “Lucien said faking some sobs .


    ” Where is my family” Lucia asked .


    ” Your family are far away in Massachusetts , U. S. A ” Lucien said hoping she believes this fountain of lies gushing out from his mouth .


    ” Oh thank you so much Lucien for being here for me , I am grateful ” she said and tried to sit upright .


    Lucien helped her up and aided her back with the pillow on the bed.


    “I will be back , I have to go see the doctor ” Lucien said and Lucia nodded feeling a little excited that she had a name didn’t hear him leave the ward .


    The slight lock of the door brought her out of subconscious and she saw he had left the ward .

    ” So you mean she just lost her memory for a period of time ” Lucien asked the doctor who nodded his head .


    “Yes and for the information, she would need your help to get her memories ” the doctor said and Lucien looked at him puzzled .


    ” How can I do that ” he asked


    “You have to remember of some memories you guys shared , take her to ces you have been to together ” he exined and I gulped .


    What have I gotten myself into


    What memories should I remind her of when j don’t have any with her.


    “Ok doctor I would do just that , anything for my friend ” I said and stood up .


    “Ok see youter , she can be discharged tomorrow by the way ” he said and I nodded slowly and quietly left his office


    I walked out of the hospital slowly, I have to clear my head first before going in to see her.


    A bottle of Brandy would do the trick .


    I got into my car and drove out of the hospital building down to my favorite ce .


    While driving my phone started ringing , I picked it up without bothering to check


    “Hey dude ” a husky voice echoed out of the receiver end .


    I smiled on knowing who it was already .


    “Derick whats up ” I said.


    ” I am fine.  Where are you , I have been waiting at your house for the past ten minutes ” he said and I scoffed.


    ” Stop ying games with me ” I said not believing him.


    He had been in the states for the past one month .


    ” Okay check my location, I just put it on “he  said and I quickly put on my location .


    Truly he was back


    ” Dude you are back , aning there now ” I said and turned my wheels to the direction of my house .


    ” Ok I am waiting for you ” he said and hung up .


    I smiled happily forgetting about my hospital dilemma for a while .


    I drove into my vicinity and saw Derick’s car parked .


    This dude wasn’t joking.


    I quickly hopped down and locked my car tucking the keys into my pocket .


    I opened the door and found him seated sipping a ss of wine


    My houeskeeper really did a nice job .


    “Hey dude , I missed you ” I said and fully entered the sitting room .


    ” Well miss is an understatement for what I feel dude , it feels like a year ” he said and I chuckled and sat down .


    ” So how was business there in Paris ” I asked.


    “Thelma ! ” I called my housekeeper and she came in view .


    ” Wee sir ” she said and I nodded .


    ” Do you mind preparing something for my friend to eat , something light ” I said and winked at Derick who was trying hard to punch me .


    ” Ok sir , or should I just microwave the chicken sauce that was prepared before ” she asked politely .


    ” I think you should make a fresh meal for my fresh friend “I said and she smiled and walked away .


    “Your housekeeper is quite a prettydy . ” Derick said and I red at him hard .


    ” Wait do you like her ” he askedughing .


    “No I don’t silly , it’s just weird the way you say it yunno ” I said andughed .


    ” Well I find her attractive ” he said and i scoffed .


    ” Fine that’s not my problem , a bigger problem awaits me now ” I said sighing .


    ” What problem ” he asked and i ruffled my hair .


    ” So yesterday night whileing from work , I saw this bag moving on the road , it just shooked and I was really inquisitive to know what is in it .” I said and took a deep breath .


    ” You found a corpse in it ” Derick asked interrupting me .


    ” Something like that but this corpse was alive and is presently in the hospital ” I said and  he nodded urging me to go on


    ” So now am in deep shit because the girl I saved can’t remember her name and the doctor believes am her close friend and I need to help her regain her memory” I concluded .


    “Wohoo deep shit bro , deep shit ”  Derick said .


    ” Yeah I know because if i can’t remember anything about her because I don’t know her , that means she can’t regain her memories ” I said and


    “Yea you are right there. But let’s see if there are any other means we could also use.” Derick said and I sighed .


    ” What other means can you think of because there’s nothing up there ” I said pointing at his brain and he pped my hands off .


    “Come closer ” he said and I came closer .


    He whispered something’s to my ears .
