MOON STONE PACK
Meagan met Carl’s gaze when she walked her way back in the hall. Her heart fluttered when he smiled at her but she didn’t acknowledge him.
Carl knew the aftermath of her finding out the truth about him had begun. The event nner walked into the hall at the same time.
“I am sorry for the dys. I had to sort out someplications in the catering session.” The event nner’s voice echoed in the hall as she walked down the free space designated for the bride and gown and their train to walk down on.
“For those of you that are just joining the rehearsal today, my name is Helen. I am the event nner who has been in charge of nning and organizing asions in this pack for years now. So I can assure you that this wedding will run smoothly. I’ll ensure everything is in ce after the end of the rehearsal.” She said.
Jones started a p and everyone joined in but it soon ended by a gesture from the event nner.
Helen drew in a deep breath, shook her head with a serious look on her face. “Let us get down to business. Those of you that are just joining please be at the back to watch the movements of those at the front. I want the chief’s bridesmaid and best man right at the front line.” Helen’s sweet musical voice gave out instructions.
Meagan looked away as she locked arms with Carl.
“Please those that have been attending rehearsal pair up with your partners. You can pick out anyone and follow the cues for those who are just joining.” Helen barked out corrections and gave instructions every time.
And while she was at it, Carl made his move. “Would you mind having a chat after rehearsal?” Carl asked.
Meagan didn’t give a respond. “Not right here in the hall. I cane over to your room.” He added in a tight whisper.
“No, I’ll be busy helping Hazel out with getting prepared for the wedding.” Meagan answered without looking at him.
Carl didn’t want to start a conversation because of the event nner eyes was bleedingsers towards those who are whispering with their partners plus Jones and Alice were right behind them. They could easily hear his words.
Helen managed to work everyone to their positions, giving them instructions and insisting they rehearse the movements over and over again. She scolded the mother of the flower girl and ring bearer for showing upte for the rehearsal causing them to start over again.
Jeremy stiffed back augh when he saw the look on Brianna’s face. He has been paired up with her to stay behind Jones and Alice.
“Are you okay?” He asked.
“What have I gotten myself into? This is so tiring.” Brianna whispered.
“I am sure we are almost done.” Jeremy smiled.
“Well I hope so.” Brianna heaved a sigh.
Carl wanted it to end so he could have a chance to have a proper discussion with Meagan. He knew there are assigned wolves to help Hazel get dressed but it was a sign that Meagan just doesn’t want to be with him. And there was no way he could put her aside to talk to her because all eyes would be on them. He has to be discreet.
As instructed by the perfectionist event nner, they started the rehearsal over again with all of them matching out of the hall. Some of them grumbled but Helen didn’t pay attention to it.
“We should at least take a break.” Alice said to Jones.
“We don’t have much time left. The wedding will start in few hours time.” Jones replied.
“You are right.” Alice nodded in agreement.
Meagan stepped forward first, followed by five other bridesmaids and the flower girl and then the rest of the five bridesmaids behind her. Carl repeated the same cue with his team as he stood next to Meagan. Hazel stayed behind the ten bridesmaids locking hands with her mate before he went ahead to the designated ce for an altar. She would be ushered in by the bridesmaids and some groomsmen without holding hands with her mate. And then Hazel’s uncle would be beside her to walk her down the aisle to her mate. The movement was simple.
“Listen it me everyone!” Helen projected her voice, silencing them all. “Starting from you… what’s your name again?” She pointed her finger.
“Meagan.” She replied.Ccontent ? exclusive by N?/vel(D)ra/ma.Org.
“Yes Meagan, once the guests are all seated and the groom has walked in with some men after they have followed the cue, wait for some seconds for the orchestral to y this sound.” Helen instructed the seated orchestral to y and they did. They have been present in the hall even before anyone came in.
“Then you and your partner came walk in. I don’t want any mistake or else we will have to start all over again.” Her words sounded like a threat.
The flower girl giggled out loud when the ring bearer did a funny gesture just to tease her.
“What’s the problem?” Helen demanded, looking displeased that they were ying.
“Stay quiet, Zoe and Zach.” Their mom who is also a bridesmaid scolded the six years old twins and they kept quiet immediately.
Helen barked out the cues all over again and they all listened obediently to her instructions with the hope that they won’t have to do it over again.
And soon it all ended with distribution of a Coca-C drink and snacks for a job well done. And while they were having random discussions among themselves, Meagan avoided Carl all through.
Meagan had spent most of her time with Hazel discussing the rest of the ns for the wedding before switching to Jones too. She was aware of Carl having a conversation with four other bridesmaids and theyughed at whatever he was saying. At some point she lost track of what Jones was telling her to focus on the alpha.
Carl was also aware of her eyes trailing on him. Howe she is still paying attention to him after deciding to distance herself from him? It’s probably because of the connection they had formed over night together.
It was pleasant and fun. And she also tried to push away any form of regrets that was trying to linger in her mind.
