" Do you want me to take order from him?" Sofia suggested.
" Yeah, thank you so much, I will just serve other customers," I gave the menu card but she refused to
take it.
" I was kidding. You should talk to him. He''s still here for you and you don''t deserve to be alone like
this. So, do it by yourself," She said, leaving me. As she walks by, I can see herugh. If she''s not
going to help, I will handle it by myself.
Before going to his table, I went to table 6 to serve the juice they ordered. I couldn''t concentrate well.
My eyes shifted towards the ce where Xander is sitting.
The next moment, my hand slipped and I almost dropped the ss.
" What the hell? Is this how you serve here?" Thedy yelled as the juice almost spilled on her dress.
Before I could make a whole mess, I caught the ss.
" I''m sorry, madam. I''m extremely sorry," I apologized, looking embarrassed to the core. This time when
I get fired, I can''te back here again.
" Where''s the owner? You aren''t even qualified to be a waitress," She yelled again and I can feel
someone''s standing beside me the next second.
" You don''t need to call the owner. She already apologized. She won''t make this mistake again. take
this as an apology and just don''t grab any more attention," Xander told her, giving her a hundred
dors. Hundred dors. Why is he doing it?
Thedy nkly looked at him for a minute and took the money. " Hereafter, I''m not ordering anything
from here," She muttered and left the dinner as the silence prevailed in the dinner again.
" Why do you do that? A hundred dors?" I red at him but he just grabbed my hands and made me
sit next to him at table 9.
" So, what are you doing here, Madison? You got the job again," He simply asked ignoring about the
hundred dors.
" Yes, I got the job back and how do you even find the address,"
" I demanded Veronica tell the dinner address. I know you woulde back here after running away
from me."
" I didn''t run away. I choose to leave you because I don''t want you to spoil your life. You will regret your
decision if you choose to be with me. Now, would you please excuse me? I have works to do. I can''t sit
here like a customer," I told him without showing any feelings of missing him.
" Even this waitress uniform looks beautiful on you. I don''t usually like red and yellow together but it
suits you," He changed the topic and I couldn''t stop myself from blushing.
" Did you hear what I said or not? I have to serve the custo..." I was speaking as Xander snapped his
fingers and caught Sofia''s attention who is standing next to this table.
" I know we haven''t officially met. You are Sofia right. I saw your pictures on Madison''s phone. Nice to
meet you. I''m Xander." He shook her hand.
" Actually, we already met but you don''t remember. Anyways, nice to meet you." She replied without
any anger she had a week ago. Is it because he''s not the same person who loved Veronica?
" So, can you manage the work without Madison for a while," He asked her. I made eye contact with
her to say ''no''. Please say no. It''s hard to avoid or forget him when he''s next to me.
" Yeah, you can have her as long as you want. She won''t say it, but she still misses you and cries."
Sofia told him and looked at me and lowered her face to my ear and whispered. " I''m doing what''s right.
I can''t deny the fact that I hated Xander but not now. He loves you and you always love him so don''t try
to ignore it." then she left.
" You have such a good friend. Atleast she''s on my side," Xander said, putting his arms around my
shoulder.
" She should be on my side and I should be in the kitchen."
" I told you, you don''t need to work anymore. Why are you making your life difficult?"
" I''m not. I''m doing what''s best for you."
" This is not best. Come to my mansion and tell me you will stay with me. A single word ''yes'' is enough.
I will cancel the wedding."
" I told you not to cancel the wedding. Did you talked with Veronica these days?"
" Yeah, she came to see me. I told her to take her things and go somewhere. I even told her I will even
get an apartment for her. I just wanted her to leave."

getting away from the table.

" I guess I have to act like a waitress. I''m in the dinner and I''m no one but a waitress to everyone. So,
what do you want to order sis?" I asked her, cing the menu card in his hand.
" Then who are you to be outside the dinner?" He raised his eyebrows.

" Xander?" I just called his name and he smiled.
" This is enough for today. I wille here daily until you change your mind."
