    I wish I could say I love you too. But Instead, I pressed my lips to his as a reply. He deepened the kiss


    without caring who might walk by in the hall or a nurse might find out that I''m kissing the patient.


    I ced my hand gently on his injured arm, pushed him on the bed. " I like this view," Xander smiled


    without breaking the kiss. I kissed him passionately, staying on top of him. All those years I have waited


    for him to love me is worth it. I never wanted anyone but Xander. And Xander said the exact same thing


    to me. After all, it''s supposed to happen.


    " Oh, no," I gasped, hearing some footsteps. I rolled over next to him, expecting some nurse who is


    walking in the hall.


    " Why are you afraid? No one''s going to enter the room." Xander whispered in my ears and lowered his


    lips to my neck.


    " What if someone found out? They will think I''m making out with a patient and kick me out of here." I


    muttered as he''s kissing my neck.

    " You still got two days to take this bandage off. The doctor informed me today. So, don''t forget that."


    " Just two days. It will pass in a blink of an eye. But I''m wondering what I''m going to do next."

    " I have to learn about my work and start working again in mypany. And I have to ask you one


    thing. When I get discharged, will you stay with me in my house?" He asked with expectations. I can''t


    leave Sofia alone. I already left her for a week.


    " I have to think, Xander. I told you about Sofia. We are roommates. I can''t leave her alone."

    I cuddled with Xander, closing my eyes thinking about my future with him. But it hurts me that I''m hiding


    our past from Xander. He said he loves me. I should have told him that I''m not just a waitress when he

    The next day, we just roamed the hospital. Xander''s not okay with staying in one ce. Now, all we got


    to explore is this hospital. After some time, I went to Henry''s house to talk with him. He wasn''t


    expecting me but he weed me inside happily.


    " How is Xander?"


    " He''s good. He will be discharged tomorrow. How are his parents?" I asked, sitting next to Henry in the


    coach.


    " They are not good. Not good at all. Since Veronica''s back..."


    " What??" I interrupted getting shocked. I thought she won''t be back for days. What if she visited him


    when I''m not around Xander.


    " Calm down. She''s here but she won''t be visiting him today. She must be locked herself in a room


    crying."


    " Why would she be crying? I have never seen her cry. She only made others cry,"


    " This is about her Wedding, Madison. His parents idently told her that Xander wants to call off the


    wedding. She knows that Xander was angry at her for sending bodyguards and trying to kick you out.


    But she didn''t think he would cancel the wedding."


    " It was expected. He didn''t remember her at all. The first impression should be good. The way


    Veronica introduced herself after Xander''s ident, drove him mad. Then how can she expect him to


    marry her?"


    " It''s her fault. I''m still not sorry for her. Anyways, Xander has to handle it all until he gets his memory


    back." Henry spoke as my phone rang. I haven''t told Xander that I''m visiting Henry. He was sleeping


    after taking pills, so I left a note.


    " Hello, where are Madison?" Xander asked with fear in his voice.


    " I''m here at Henry''s house. I left you a note since you are sleeping."


    " Oh, I haven''t looked at my table. I know it''s silly but I''m really panicking without your presence."


    " You get afraid if I left. I will being back. Then what''s your worst fear, Xander?" I beamed. Henry''s


    still watching me talking with Xander. He''s going to ask me something when I hung up.


    " My worst fear is Veronica might try to do something to you. Just like she appointed two bodyguards. It


    wasn''t a big issue. But it could be."


    " That wasn''t a big issue cause you got a gun in your hand. But now there''s nothing to worry about. I''m


    safe here. I will be back in an hour."


    " Good to hear. See youter, babe," he hung up without waiting for a reply. Wow, when did he start


    using the word ''babe''.


    " You are talking with Xander?" Henry asked me with suspicion.


    " Yeah, What''s wrong?"


    " I''m thinking there''s a lot of things to catch up. You are totally blushing when you talked with him. Is


    there anything you like you share with me?" Henry asked, waiting for me to say ''yes''. I can lie that


    there''s nothing to tell but from the way Henry looks at me, I know he knows something.

    " I know you love Xander. I don''t know how that''s happened. But I saw you kissing him." Henry calmly

    " When did you..."


    " Today morning. His parents want me to see him since he''s mad at his parents. I came to see and talk


    to him but then I caught you both kissing in his bed. I wasn''t expecting this at all. I can''t walk into the


    room and make it an awkward moment. I just walked away. But you should have said something about


    this." Henry said, with disappointment.


    " I didn''t get time to talk with you, Henry. And nothing was going between us till yesterday night."


    " Really? It all happened overnight," He questioned.


    " Okay. I think I have to talk about our school time I think. Hear me out. Please don''t kick me out of your


    house and ignore me for hiding something which I will be telling now." I told him in advance and he just


    nodded.


    " I was in love with Xander when we are in school. That''s what made me kiss him in the dare. Veronica


    and Sofia know it too. Even after I shared my feelings with Veronica, she epts Xander''s proposal


    and never let a word about it to anyone."


    " You loved Xander all these years??"
